Comments The breakfast was terrible! It was out of coffee both day and there was only 1 orange. I do not consider wrapped power bars a breakfast item. no cereal or milk or rolls The room was very noisy - yelling and screaming at 3 AM, and loud thumping from floor above. NO ICE!!!!! Only one person on the staff seemed to be knowledgeable - the rest just stood around. The mattress was wonderful. The two desk chairs were great. Terribly disappointed. To check in, I had to wait for the front desk attendant to get a commercial break from the show he was watching to actually check in. The non-smoking room had a dirty ashtray on the dresser and all the bedding reeked of cigarettes. The shower walls were dirty- dark gray soap scum splashes dried on from previous guests. There was a cigarette butt in the sink drain of the kitchenette. This room was disgusting. I had a horrible experience at the extended stay in Downers Grove, Illinois. They never had enough towels and face cloths clean. There was a horrible odor which stayed in the room during my entire stay. Tjere are more things i could say but I'm getting disgusted thinking about it.

Looked for a hotel to stay during a road trip The guy before me got checked into a room that was already occupied. So during my check-in he came back and asked for another room. What a great impression. Imagine the front desk giving somebody access to your room, with your stuff/family in there and a stranger walks in. Horrible. The guy at the check-in was not the fastest. Do not enter this hotel Check-in took almost an hour. Window of the room (on the 1st floor!!!) could not be locked. Had to get staff first to repair that. Not sure if the bed was freshly made. Very disappointing.

Worst hotel of the trip. The room had a bad musty smell. The chairs were stained and no rollaway bed was available. I've stayed at other Extended Stay hotels before but this was by far the worst.

NO GO! Front Desk Guy was a total jerk! It was 130 and he wouldn't let us check in but had many rooms available. Terrible Customer Service!! Room had noting in it for an extended stay...

Stay somewhere else We stayed in Downers Grove because my family were all staying at the Marriot which was accross the street. We did not want to spend the extra $100 for the night. I wish I would have. The first thing I do when we stay in Hotels is, I check the sheets. The sheets were dirty. There were hairs. I immediately called the front desk and got replacement sheets expecting the housekeeper to replace the sheets for us. We just got the sheets. I changed them myself.
