So-so lodgings at a reasonable price in the 'burbs The room was decent for the price and close enough for the event we were attending to work fine. However, on arrival (around 5pm) the first room we were given wasn't ready. My son and I opened the door to find essentially a trashed room from the previous guests (they just gave us a room that they thought had been cleaned but wasn't). Great comfort in last minute travel I came to town a day early for business and needed a last minute room. About 35-40 mins from downtown Chicago it was out and away from all the hustle and bustle but easy to access. The staff was very friendly. my room was great. Had I needed a longer stay this place would have been perfect but big, clean, comfy bed and not too far from highway. I'd stay there again.
Extended Stay-Wesmont IL (OakBrook Area) Okay building, nice staff...no hot breakfast but very affordable and lots of room for storage..

No issues. I've stayed here multiple times, had no problems. Having the ability to cook your own food in the room with the kitchen is nice.

Neglected facilities mar hotel experience The room and the 3rd floor had the appearance and smell of a transient hotel. The hallways smelled of cigar smoke and there was construction going across the hall and plaster chunks and dust were in the middle on the hall for the full 48 hours I was there. It was never cleaned. The surface of the kitchen and bathroom floor was either not cleaned or cleaned with a substance that caused your shoes to noisily stick when you walked.
