Clean and comfortable. Needed a one night stay in Ann Arbor and booked this place online, the room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable, also the staff was friendly and helpful, only drawback for me was no ice machine, all in all I thought it was a very nice stay for the money.
Very Satisfactory Everything was as expected for us with this stay. It is not a high end hotel, but it is a great value for the price. The room was clean, orderly, quiet and comfortable. There were only minor signs of wear-and-tear in the room and the facility in general. The hotel service went above and beyond in that we checked in slightly early and were granted a late check out (of about an hour or two beyond the normal). Very Pleasant Experience--Home Away From Home! We like this hotel so much, we will definitely stay there again and will recommend it to our friends. It is the only hotel in the area which has all the attributes we like. The full kitchen is a HUGE selling point with us.
Smoke smell on third floor. We had asked for a non-smoking room and were placed on the third floor which had a very smokey smell. We requested to be changed and immediately got moved to the second floor. No problem there. Good location. Close to the mall and university.
Okay for one night Our room was next to the elevator-the worst place in any hotel. Walls were paper thin and even though we were around a corner from the lobby, we heard every conversation from the lobby late night, early morning. Lastly, paint job on cupboards must have been done without masking and it showed.

The facility seemed sketchy. We arrived late and could not get ahold of anyone to check in. We had to call customer service (a number I found online), and they were able to reach the night attendant. He finally came out and checked us in. The room was clean, but the furnace smelled. The carpet was undesirable.

I normally do not write reviews, but this is one that needs to happen. Despite several attempts to remedy the concerns both on site and via email with the manager. Nothing was done. Long story short. The room was in terrible condition. It was dirty, there were poor repairs made to virtually every corner of the room. It was doors on the bathroom vanity, the caulking around the tub/shower was discussing. There was a 2x4 in the corner of the room to hold the door open.
