don't come here I arrived at 3:25 pm, I was told my room was not ready, even though I had a reservation and check in was at 3. I explained to the lady at the desk that I needed my room right away because I had somewhere to be in an hour. She looked at the computer and said “I will have no clean rooms for an hour and I can’t upgrade you because those rooms are not clean either.” Finally she said my only option for you is our show room. I had no choice but to take it. Being in a rush I had to take a quick shower and did not ha... read more

You get what you pay for... If you are travelling through Detroit and want a decent little room at a decent price- you can drop your bags here. No frills, but a clean bed and a working bathroom. Location is OK, not super close to any expressway, but close to a lot of restaurants and strip-mall shopping.

Un Happy Guest This place was down right horrible. I first get there and think wow this might be okay, then I get to room. The room smelled, my husband called because I forgot shampoo and soap and was told they don't supply shampoo and they ran out of bar soap. So I left to go buy both and was going to come back and take a shower so I asked my husband to stop buy and pick up an extra pillow and extra towels, he came back with one towel and that they couldn't find a pillow. I was soooooo upset that I called the extended stay ... read more

I'd keep looking, if I were you!! I was looking for an inexpensive hotel to spend one night, while in town for a wedding. The price was low, and the front desk clerk was very nice, but the hotel left a LOT to be desired! Upon arrival, we were walking down the hallway to our room and happened to look up at the ceiling. There were 2 spots where something had leaked, and there was MOLD on the ceiling tiles-GROSS!!! Our room appeared to be clean, the a/c was on high and the room was nice and cool but smelled faintly of smoke, an... read more

you get what you pay for The hot.el is chaper in person than online. The hotel was sort of ok. The doors are suuuuper heavy and have nothing to stop them from slamming, so when everyone leaves early in the am, you WILL get woken up by the loud crashes of doors down ur hall. Not very helpful if u r trying to sleep in! I once was awakened by mgmt screaming at the room next door who hadn't check out in time. They were beating on the door threatening to call the cops. That was a lovely morn. :(

Room smelled of smoke even though it was supposed to be a non-smoker. This fact hinders all my other ratings.

yuck The only benefit to this hotel was the fact it was a block from where i needed to be. The entire place smelled of stale smoke, the bathroom was so small the door cleared the toilet by half an inch. The door to the stairwell appeared to have a bullet hole in the glass. Need i say more??

First and Last Time at an Extended Stay America Our room smelled like smoke. The window was open in our room to air it out, which meant the air conditioning wasn't on and temperatures were in the 80s and 90s. The whole place smelled like curry - even our sheets. When you walk down the main hallways you can hear guests talking in their rooms - the walls are paper thin.
