Carlsbad Great hotel, friendly staff and convenient for my boyfriend from Carlsbad to come down. The prices are ok

Okay but nothing great .... Cockroaches in room .... stained bed sheets ... strange people hanging out in the back of hotel every night

No service, no coffee pot no kitchen utilities

Next time, I'll be prepared Was surprised when there wasn't a hair dryer or coffee pot. So I bought an $18.00 hair dryer and plenty of frapachinos. It would have been nice to have a table lamp to be able to read in bed. The staff was super helpful. The room was VERY clean and neat. The full size fridge looked brand new. I will stay there when I go back in August, and I'll be prepared!
Good Stay. Room was clean and bed very comfortable. Disappointed in the slow check in. Also, if arriving after 7;30PM, you have to call from a phone in the little lobby and wait for someone to help you. Also no coffee in the room. No complimentary breakfast.
