OK location but out of date and uncomfortable Old and worn rooms and an uncomfortable mattress. There are better choices on the Beltway when you visit Madison
Poor Communications. My $$$ Loss! Due to the recent Midwest Blizzard, I attempted 5 times to contact Extended Stay to advise them of being stranded and unable to check in on my first night scheduled stay. After working through all the 'push this and push that', I was transferred to an answering service that ASSURED ME someone would call me back. NOT my fave hotel in Madison The room appeared clean enough at first glance. No smells: good. But the toilet bowl needed some serious scrubbing under the rim, the regular water that filled the bowl after a flush was yellow (rusty pipes?), and the bathroom floor could have been cleaner. We had a queen bed with a sleeper sofa for our teen son; there were NO bed linens for the sleeper sofa. Cheap, but... Check-in took a ridiculous 25min, and only one of our rooms was ready when we got there. Booked non-smoking rooms, and when we got off the elevator the whole floor reeked. Inside the room was even worse (our clothes smelled like smoke just from being in the room), but they apparently tried to hide the fact that it was a smoking room by removing the ash trays.
hoorible this place was horrible. it smelled and there was no windows in my room.the only thing that kept me there was because i was in wisconsin. i would never come to this hotel again
