Cheap hotel with rude staff. The staff was very RUDE and unprofessional. Denied us towels when we asked and every time I encountered a staff member they had a terrible attitude. I've never received customer service as I did this weekend at the Value Place in Mobile. On another note the room was okay. One of our towels was dirty with some blue and pink substances. The room was pretty dusty as well because my friend with bad allergies had a terrible attack in the room and we discovered this. I guess you get what you pay for wi... read more

Horrible experience Horrible experience! Do not stay at this hotel. Upon check in the lady was very rude! Anyone staying in hotel over 18 has to give them a copy of their drivers license, I have been doing hotels for over 30 years and have never heard of this. I asked her why we have to very politely and she responded very rude! And said we have to have it. My adult son went to the room and the smell was so bad from smoke and other things that it sent him into a asthma attack. He came down and said I can't stay in that room.... read more

tv and staff The Tv did not turn on and the only front desk staff was not at the desk. I had to wait. Also she had a small attitude that I found unpleasant. The bed was like a rock. She did tell me I didn't have to check out and to just leave the key in the room when I left which is convenient.

Bed too small The bed didn't even look like it could have been a queen size. Two adults in 1 full size bed. I would never book there again.

Value Place guest The front desk attendant charged us more than our guaranteed rate. The guest in the room next to us was very loud during late night hours. This is by far the most unpleasant experience I've had when choosing to stay at various Value Place locations.

You get what you pay for.! I'm a travel nurse and I get to travel the U.S and Moible, Alabama seems to be one of the worse places as far as hospitality and accommodations. This is truly the dirty south. They charge you or linens, wi-fi and daily cleaning, that's why the price is so cheap. I just have had a bad experience with associates there. The place is clean until I found a pair of dirty draws behind my bathroom door.i give it a fair rating overall. If it wasn't for the bad interaction I had with one employee. I probably... read more

Never stay there again I would get locked out of my room and there was never a person at the front desk they charged me a few hundred dollar more than hotels.com quoted I had cockroaches in the room.
