Don't check in afterhours We arrived at 11PM and there were several police cars in the lot. I had intentionally tried to find a hotel that wasn't in a terrible neighborhood as we were just driving through. The office was locked and we needed to use the phone in the breezeway, which didn't work. The woman who was there for the night had no idea what she was doing, informing us that she had no idea how to use a computer. Used to live in area! The room was ok for overnite stay. In town for a funeral. The picture on internet is decieving. It took forever to check in. I was on a time crunch. When I pulled in the parking lot I was not happy. I did not really realize that "Extended" meant that people lived there. I am not a big traveler do not use hotels much. awful room had a odor had to buy air freshner people out in front of door drinking couldn't sleep was afrid to go out to tell them to go away.toilet didn't flush right.dirty rug.

I booked this hotel because I had an 8am Saturday appointment in Newport News and did not want to travel early in the morning from Richmond. I arrived at 9pm on Friday night and the lobby door was locked with no one at the front desk. After walking around the building and not seeing another way to access the lobby I called the hotel from my cell phone. A woman answered and told me to come back to the lobby. It was ok The room was clean and comfortable but the pillows were cheap and flat and very uncomfortable.When two adults with sinus issues try to sleep on them it is very uncomfortable and makes for a stressful night. Also there was no shampoo and only one tiny bar of soap. I was really disappointed because this motel was so convenient and had been recommended.

not a good place to stay the place was very old filthy carpet filthy old chair filthy mattress and box springs I felt like i was in an old camp. The pictures on net was nothing like the room. I will never stay there again

Extended Stay America- Oyster Point- BLAH The AC unit had a leak and the carpet in the room was wet around the unit. There was no hair dryer. Small bathroom. No ventilation fan in the bathroom. Water pressure was average in the shower. Other clientele were questionable. Some late night noises and activity.
