The staff was exceptional. We had to evacuate from Ida and were not in the best mental state. Billy put us at ease right away and took care of us the whole time we were there. The entire staff were excellent. We had to book at the last minute so we ended up on the smoking floor and yes the hallway smelled like smoke but not our room. We had two rooms and they were both very clean. We have no complaints about our stay at all.

Not the Bates Motel but close enough I was in total disbelief that hotels as such still exist. However, it was costly to me for one night. Bedding was comfortable yet restroom had a soap container on counter and there was a package in room boxed and in a corner (very personal stuff addressed to a Billy Russell). As I prepared to checkout no one was at front counter for over 10 minutes to also let them know what my kids found in the room. Several occupants were waiting with me. Clean not comfy! Front desk staff were friendly, room was clean. What they called a bed felt like a box springs on a frame. No comfort and sounded like it was going to collapse with each move. I did not get any sleep.

I like the convenience of access too the Interstate I-20 East & West. I also like the Varity of Food Place in the area and the location of the Hotel & Dog Friendly is a plus first like Traveling with my Dog. I like the Kitchen area Large Refrigerator Cold, Microwave & Cooking Stove. Just a place to lay your head nothing special Just a bed frame and mattress. It took forever to be waited on because the night person was in a room upstairs.
