The room smelled very unpleasant like a wet mop. The toilet barely worked, as well as the room having roaches

Dirty, broken and lacking supplies. Very dirty unit, lacking wash cloths, kitchen supplies. Found a condom and pills under the bed with dust bunnies. Window and mirrors were dirty, cigarettes found in kitchen drawer. Tub spigot was broken and rusted. Could not move up our down. Also Hotels.com originally listed free shuttle to and from TPA airport but I now see it was removed. I will take photos next time. Dennis W.

I would not stay here again. The area is fine and it is near everything but they don't clean your room. I actually never saw any housekeeping person at all during my 4 day stay. The shower only had slightly warm water and it went cold very quickly. I would not recommend this place.

To much noise car alarm at 2am people talking in hall at 4am they sounded like they were in our room

Good location relative to airport. Exterior appealing. However, toilet broken. Had to put water in trash can to pour in toilet bowl to flush. Bathroom fan louder than jet engine and clogged with dust. Advertised breakfast was very disappointing. Coffee cold. No decaf. Options were instant oatmeal, granola bar or packaged cake. Larger family but assigned to two different floors.

No coffee cups in am,elevator broken,dirty room,noisy.The worst hotel experience I have ever had,and I have travelled a lot.

PAY MORE IF NEEDED AND CHOOSE ANOTHER HOTEL!!!!! This hotel is horrible. We only chose hotel for a short stay prior to beginning our cruise vacay. The front desk clerk was having a bad night and it showed. We arrived at our room and we literally didn't want to touch anything. The smell when we opened the door was that of old food or garbage that had not been taken out. Gross and nauseating!!! The hotel is run down and old. PAY MORE AND CHOOSE ANOTHER HOTEL!!! Very disappointed!!!

Spruce Street Extended Stay America TPA The Good: The location is just minutes from the airport. The mattress comfort level was good. The on-the-go breakfast had muffins and granola bars that were so fresh. Morning checkout was a breeze, and the lovely attitude of the ladies at the desk was kind and caring toward their customers. The night check-in lady could learn a lot from the morning ladies at the desk. The Not-so-good: No coffee maker in the room. Yes, seriously. No ice available!!! Cleanliness needs improvement, poor amenities The rooms are extremely dirty. There was long hair all over the bathroom floor and in the shower. The bathroom vent was caked full of dust. Our first room did not have any bathroom amenities so the front desk switched us to a room down the hall. The bar of soap gave me a rash all over my face and body. I did not have very high expectations for this economy hotel, however I felt the cleanliness was extremely poor even for this brand.
