Close to DC and Metro Clean and comfortable. The kitchen facilities were so helpful to 3 senior ladies wanting to see DC. It was 1/2 a mile to the Metro and easy to access it. The hotel provided us with small kitchen appliances, dishes, and silverware. There were on-site laundry facilities. Everything functioned as it should. It was quiet and clean. And the price was very low for all these amenities. We enjoyed our stay very much and can find no faults. Staff was friendly and helpful.
It was OK It was good enough for its price and close enough to DC. I didnt like the fact that we had to take out our own trash plus there was no daily room service. The wifi was also ridiculous. It shouldn't say free wifi if the wifi doesn't work properly. This is 2015 for gods sake.
Close to metro Needed a clean place close to metro. We knew we wouldn't be spending much time there. Staff very friendly and made the best of small facility. Called for more blankets and never got them so had to go get myself. Sparsely furnished but clean with no weird smells. Not in the same grade as those with plush beds and fluffy white comforters but after a long day of touring DC it definitely was fine and price was right.
family rest I just stopped to relax for one night. It was nice
Get your Coffee Early! My only grape was during the light breakfast they served between 6:30 - 9:30. I went back down at around 9:15, the two coffee pots were empty and staff did not bother to make anymore. Coffee pots are extra to be in your room, so, go down early to get free coffee! Also, the nearest store or gas station is about 5 minutes drive away so, have everything before you check in.
Clean Cheap Room: Not many amenities... We need a place to crash for the night on our way home from OBX. We planned to whirlwind tour the Capital the next day. I looked for something close to the city but also cheap, as we did not get in till late. When we booked I had to wait for a few minutes as it took the desk clerk a while to get the group ahead of me and then myself checked in. The room was clean, but dated.
