Get your Coffee Early! My only grape was during the light breakfast they served between 6:30 - 9:30. I went back down at around 9:15, the two coffee pots were empty and staff did not bother to make anymore. Coffee pots are extra to be in your room, so, go down early to get free coffee! Also, the nearest store or gas station is about 5 minutes drive away so, have everything before you check in.
Clean Cheap Room: Not many amenities... We need a place to crash for the night on our way home from OBX. We planned to whirlwind tour the Capital the next day. I looked for something close to the city but also cheap, as we did not get in till late. When we booked I had to wait for a few minutes as it took the desk clerk a while to get the group ahead of me and then myself checked in. The room was clean, but dated. don't let the service keep you from staying here. The staff had a hard time with a language barrier. I believe there should always be someone on staff that speaks English. The room was clean and the location was perfect. You could walk to the metro and to head to DC and King St wasn't far. We would stay there again the price was good and I loved having a small kitchen.
