Je n'y retournerai pas! Terrible - une nuit (j'ai raté mon avion) j'ai reservé une chambre non fumeur et on m'a mis dans une chambre fumeur pretextant qu'il n'y avait pas d'autre chambre. Hors sur le site hotel.com il etait précisé Non fumeur! Hotel desuet- a renover completement.
Poor Service, Smelly Room I was stuck at IAD airport & needed a room for the night. When I arrived, the front desk clerk (who was by himself) did not have my reservation. After that was fixed, I went to my room. I was so tired, I didn't have the energy to put up a fight. But the room I was given hadn't been occupied for a while maybe or something, but it smelled of a high school gym boys locker room. It was not at all conducive to relaxation or rest. Had to go back and sleep in my car Hotels.com and this hotel hace no organization. Front desk was rude and staff was unorganized. You might reserve and have no guarantee with this place because of the mess they have, had to sleep in the car.
Just say no Awful. The room was spartan and worn out--all the laminate everywhere was lifting. The bed was fine. The windows were dirty/cloudy. Staples were in the wall with torn paper behind them. The toilet seat broke and no one was available to fix it and no one helped us in any way. We had to go to the desk twice and beg finally for masking tape and a plastic knife to put the cracked off seat together temporarily. It was awful. You are definitely on your own in this hotel. Dreadful - Couldn't leave fast enough! I didn't stay. I got to my room and it stank. It wreaked of cigarettes and industrial cleaner. I switched rooms to avoid the offensive odors and had to downgrade to a queen sized bed in order to do so. This second room was better but still smelled awful and looked like the sheets had NEVER been changed. By the time my daughter arrived to meet me I had already booked a room at a neighboring hotel. Not worth a penny over $40. We paid over $115/day. When the toilet seat cracked apart at 9 p.m. at night no one was available to fix it and my husband had to beg the front desk for masking tape and a plastic knife for stability. Thank God my husband figured that out, b/c the hotel offered no help til 9 a.m. the next morning. Everything was old and a bit dilapidated. The room was small, the paint was bubbling up in the bathroom. Hardly in hot water. It was lukewarm at best.
Close to airport When we checked in they ask for ID and credit card. My husband gave both but didn't realize til morning that he didn't get ID back. It took a couple calls to front desk and a trip down insisting they check front desk for ID. When they found it it was on the BOTTOM of pile of assorted ID's in a drawer. Worker had to know it was left behind and made no attempt to return. Lots of questions like why on the bottom of the pile?????Why do they have a pile of IDs????why no attempt to contact us?????
