Affordable The hotel is pretty austere in terms of amenities & ambience, which reflects the low room rates. Our room included a king bed & sofa bed & a kitchenette. There was no housekeeping for the 4 days we were there but we did receive clean towels & washcloths on request. However, they were small & somewhat dingy. We will not stay here again. My husband and I have stayed here several times in the past few months while traveling through the area. Up until about a month ago, we were very pleased with this hotel. Our last stay was early July and it was awful! Garbage, including a baby's dirty diaper, was in the bathroom waste basket, the bed sheets had not been changed and were clearly not clean, no toilet paper and no complimentary soaps or shampoos. Bring Air Freshener And Your Own Hairdryer Our family of 3 had to find a hotel fast when a severe storm toppled a tree on our block and we lost power. This hotel was the closest one with available rooms. Though advertised as non-smoking, the room smelled of smoke with a hint of mold. Wouldn't stay there again Hotel was very minimal and my room had a strong smell that was awful. But when I opened the windows to air it out, it was loud and people were milling around outside in the parking lot. I literally was only there for 9 hours or I would have sought out other options.
"Non-smoking" rooms that reek of cigarettes This place was filled with construction workers from a nearby project, with the result that many rooms are perpetually filthy and not being cleaned adequately between stays. All three rooms staff attempted to assign me to reeked of cigarette smoke, even though all are designated as non-smoking. Numerous shirtless "guests" were roaming the lobby on several occasions. Canceled our reservation after two nights - Had to change rooms at check-in because our first room smelled like cigarette smoke. Second room smelled something like burnt curry. - We requested a baby crib but were told at check-in that the only crib available was already checked out for several weeks. Breakfast was a joke. Started at 6:30 AM. By 7:30 only thing left was a few apples and a few packets of instant oatmeal.
