I needed temporary storage of some household items, and Extra Space Storage offered the best value for my needs. Amaya helped me choose a size that worked for me. Every time I arrived to access my space, Amaya and Raul greeted me enthusiastically and were always extremely helpful and accommodating. I only needed the space for a few months. But should I need storage in the future, I will not hesitate to reach out to Amaya at Extra Space Storage.
I picked this location because of the awesome Yelp reviews and I'm glad to say they proved to be true! Every step of my rental experience was easy. Their company website is easy to navigate. My daughter has relocated from the East Coast and we need storage space until I find a house. We went to SEVERAL storage facilities to check out the available units as well as the vibe of the staff that we were going to be dealing with. As a first timer w storage units and new to LA, I didn't know what to expect! I am so happy I chose Extra Space Storage AND the Pico Blvd location because Amaya, the Assistant Manager, was so helpful and got me an amazing deal! I had a household emergency and had to move out a room of belongings. I went to extra space storage and they had adequate space that was dry, secure, and accessible. I think they are a little pricey, but I don't feel like I was robbed. Their facility is a little run down, but secure nonetheless.
Greedy! Stay away! Lures you in with a low first month rate and soon thereafter hits you with continuous increases that make the storage unit more expensive than other storage spaces. Also note their move our policy offers NO refund for unused dates; maybe a prorated rate but only if you remember to provide a 10-15 day notice in advance. I made the mistake of not reading their multipage agreement and moved out while still having to pay for about one month of storage that I was not even using! Beware they will raise the cost of your rental unit without warning within *months* of your signing up. Is this even legal? They don't tell you that they'll raise your rent to "market rate" when they gladly take your money when you first rent a unit. Extra space storage is a huge scam!!! Our system assesses rates on a 4-9 month basis to see if customers are at or close to market value on their units. After this process, customers will get a postcard with a rate increase 30 days in advance to bring them closer to market value. We do not purchase reviews. Hate to one star ya but I'm moving out soon. It's mostly because my rate skyrocketed from $200 to $400 in less than 3 months since moving in. I don't know why there aren't laws for protecting customers in this type of situation but it basically makes it seem like an auction set up. They must get some auction kickback a something. You think you have a stable steady storage rate and then boom- double the price to hold stuff from your life. I'm bringing it back to the house to sort it out..

spare me the fake response about your apologies for inconveniences. You have made ZERO actual attempts to reach out and resolve the issue. Your broadcasted words don't match your behind the scenes non-actions. I have been waiting for a supervisor to reach out and resolve this issue for a whole week. Nothing but tumbleweeds.
