I don't have a unit but my family member does, and I pay for it. They just randomly raised the rate 50 dollars for no rhyme or reason. I cannot in good faith suggest a place that randomly changes the fee with no explanation and out of the blue. Look elsewhere. i know also how much stuff my family member has and the original rate was borderline high and increasing it 50 dollars is way too high of a hike.

Do not rent from Extra Space Storage. 1. Hidden in their agreement is that they can (and do) raise your rent at any time. 2. After ONE MONTH at the advertised rate that I signed up for ($167/mo) they raised it by 50%!!! 3. Without notice!!! 4. Only when I called them on this did they agree to a PARTIAL refund, and would not guarantee future increases would not happen. if i could leave 0 stars i would. bums live outside the doors and it's infested with roaches i only had my things in there for 1 week and its infested with roaches in everything im so disgusted!!! i dont even know how ill get them out of all of my things now I WANT A REFUND ASAP

Reminder this place has roaches and when confronted, managment and corporate will say it's the risk you take for renting a storage. Not normal! I got zero money back after paying over $100 per month for months and had to throw most of my belongings away. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

This place is never open on time but have the nerve to close the gate and lock the doors as soon as closing time hits. We have things to do in the morning just like they wanna go home at night. Update: it's 9:21 am. Guy finally comes. Drives in all cool like it never happened.

Not true on the restrooms. There's one toilet and one sink in the lobby. It's amazing that one restroom cannot be maintained.

Rubbish storage facility. Cockroaches in the storage unit. Rude employees. Disabled my gate access code without notice even though I had paid on time

Moved in on 12/29/17 and on 4/23/18 they sent me a notice that my rent was going up $40.00 per month. After calling the I was informed that this is normal and that I should expect an increase every 9 to 12 months additionally. This is no way to keep costumers and I am starting to look for new storage.
