Raised the rate 10% after 4 months. This was never divulged in the lease but this is how this company rolls. They divulged another secret, 9 months will be another increase and so on. So after a few years you will be paying double. Scam!

Of course, they start you off with a good, competitive price but quickly begin to raise the cost. I like that the gates have a code pad so that there is more flexible hours to access your belongings, but you have to buy one their locks because no other one is compatible. Then, To top it off, the storages aren't fully enclosed which exposes your belongings to weather, dust & debris. We had our stuff there 2 years before we couldn't handle the prices anymore. So I've had a unit here for maybe 4 months? Why am I receiving a 14$ increase on my rent. Don't start this bs becsuse you'll be losing a customer before the month ends if you want to discuss something you can comment on this complaint and handle it

This company is the worst, I rented a space from them, I initially got quoted a price on line ( a hook) then when I actually went to the unit on Raymer st . They bullied me into paying insurance, which I didn't need or want. Then they said, ok you can take it off after one month, which I did. So then they found another way to rip me off!!!! They increased my rent by 15%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Outrageous!!!!!! I complained to no avail neither the manager or corporate did anything!!!!! When I called extra space storage They said "first month free, all you pay is admin fee of 24" they never said anything about haveibg to purchase a lock also They lied I get to facility and I brought my own pad lock and guy says I have to buy cylinder lock They didn't say that on the phone They are liars and NOT UP FRONT
we rent 1 unit 2014 and we don't have any issue until new manager came. please trust me go to this faculty you can see, i warning you all . please contact me i will shear with you. tomorrow we are going to court . after that I will complete my review . we couldn't make file at court last Friday, we have go om Monday now time is 1:56 pm and reilly we are scare to dad , just i am worry abut my family. I was already a customer here, storing my 25 ft boat since 2011, before Extra Space bought out this facility from the previous owners. Following Extra Space taking over, everything seemed OK at first, but following a weekend on my boat, I returned to find both boat covers missing, along with 20 tie down straps I used to cover my boat with. Please be aware of the outrageous rate increase that they will impose soon after you move in and the rate will continue to increase indefinitely.
We just relocated to this facility 3 months ago, and just received a $300 per year rate increase. We'll be leaving here shortly.
