I just want to thank Tayre and Kevon for their dedicated service over the past two years. Having your possessions in storage can be super stressful. I found myself in a pinch during a gap between moving out of my old place and into my new place, and I was in a complete panic. Extremely courteous and helpful front staff... Much cleaner facility than many competitors... Less of a "lockdown" feel... I fully expect them to raise rates every now and then - EVERYBODY does, though, so this isn't a reason to dock stars from this location. (It's a reason to dock stars from this industry, though, and STOP STORING YOUR EXTRA CRAP. GET RID OF IT INSTEAD!) I only needed the space for less than a month. I got a good rate and the staff was very helpful and friendly and place is clean.
I have been very pleased with the customer service, cleanliness, and ease of loading in and out of this facility. If you need to access your unit frequently and don't have to worry about parking and broken freight elevators, this is the place for you. I feel like the pricing structure is very competitive with the other facilities in the area, but the factors I listed above seal the deal for me.
Is it weird to be so excited about a storage space? We needed a large-ish room for about 2 months while we were subletting between leases. Extra Space on 3rd Ave in Gowanus had exactly what we needed, & when I went online, they were running a first month free special, so we hopped on it.
