I was not at all impressed with Extra Space Storage. They did not have a plan that suited my needs & I had to pay for much more time than I needed. Then Marion, one of the ladies that helps run the place was extremely rude when I asked for a deal on the second month. There is only one bathroom & it is locked & the key is in the office so I hope you don't have to use the restroom when you come & the office is not open. Also, they don't have nearly enough carts. I noticed they took down Jimmy Z's reviews. I'm glad I captured the highlights. I'm so much happier without extra space storage in my life!

The people at the front desk are nice. However if you do not mind a 20 % price increase in rent within a year then go ahead and move in. Also I was never given any notice of the 2 increases. They said they mailed out cards but I never received any mail from them. When I moved to a smaller unit they prorated the rent to their advantage.

I was disappointed with my storage experience here. The ladies in the office seemed super nice and friendly, but I was told I would have my unit held at a flat rate for the duration of my 18 month stay since I was an active duty military member. I used the autopay system and after about a year it automatically raised my rate by over $20. I called or stopped in each month I was billed at the higher rate (4 months), and each time I was told the problem would be fixed and credited to my account the next month. I was very disappointed with the staff at this storage facility. I was going to be storing my things with them up until the first place I had called told me there was a mixup with my reservation, and that I was still able to store with them. When I reserved with this place, I was charged a holding fee that was never reimbursed back to me. I called several times, as well as left several messages with hopes of being reimbursed from them. The way they presented the price in the office to get you to rent is shady at best. I came in and said "how much is it to rent here?" We looked at a unit and they gave me a price. It was a good price and they offered the customary half off the first month, so i said oK. But what they should have said was this... "This unit will be a certain price.. and... we do have a one time fee that you will need to pay.. and... there will also be another fee tacked on for insurance every month if you cant provide proof of your ... read more
