We are moving to Carmel and were looking for storage in the Monterey area. We have a unit in another Extra Space Storage facility (with GREAT service) so we hoped it would be at least similar. We were not disappointed! Marion and her associates were nothing but friendly. She made the process quick and she is a hoot! I can see why the other reviewer said she looked forward to seeing her. I have not even moved in yet, but I expect it to be great.

We only needed storage but the staff here were so amazingly helpful to both me and my daughter through a very difficult move. They helped us find people to help move , take stuff we couldn't use any more and get ups to pick up stuff that needed to be shiped. They went above and beyond their jobs to help us . I cannot express enough how much it meant to my daughter to get this help. I believe they do this for everyone and anyone that needs a hand. I hope i can someday repay this kindness, just great people.

Great business and staff to work with. Just moved to the area and needed a storage unit until i found a more permanent place. I called them and they reserved a unit for me but gave me the option to look at different sizes. The first month is almost free and easy to load and unload. Premises are clean and secure. Alas, I found a place and don't need the storage but highly recommend.

Successful business of Monterey. First month is almost free. Very convenient loading and unloading storage. Daniel at the front desk is great, know her job well and is polite. I would go there again.

We were relocating for my husband's job and needed a place to basically stage everything before lugging it to our new home. This place had an amazing deal of 1st month free. We were very pleased with the size of the unit and the cleanliness of the facility and figured our stuff was safe as houses. It was... From everything but water damage. Somehow either the roof leaked or a pipe broke and ruined our mattress and box spring set. Word to the wise... GET THE INSURANCE. So I haven't ever rented a storage unit before but this place is so friendly! I felt welcomed even before i met them. I reserved online and that same day i got a call from Liz asking me when i would like to come in for a tour. She was so positive when i came in even though i broke the rules and followed in the gate without a code. haha. I was surprised with the unit itself too! It was bigger than expected and the whole place was very clean. Even the other tenants were friendly. :)

My new second home for my seasonal clothes and kitchen tools. Glad I picked this location and business since my experience with them so far had been nothing but positive. Marion holds down the fort and I dig her energy and contagious attitude. I always look forward to seeing her! Prices are comparable to other locations, seems pretty secure, and my 5'x5' holds quite a bit. The only thing I could recommend is adding a touch of color on those white walls and doors!

Marion, the store manager, and her staff are absolutely amazing! They go above and beyond to help their customers. I ran into some tricky situations with a bad moving company and some furniture that I needed to give away when I moved out of my unit. The staff at Extra Space helped me out tremendously. I cannot say enough good things about this company!
