i was in my unit and the rat poop and urine is over all my newborns brand new stuff about 2000 in damage he wasnt born yet so we put it allo in storage so i start to clean out oue stuff and get bit on my hand by rat so the office called 911 and i went to get shot they said they would pay for bikk hell no i refused to stay and they locked us out and the rest of our belongings i aske the other tenants is they had rats they all said for over a year so no they not doing anything about it one tenant gave me pics of there destroy... read more
The Customer Service has been great from the staff but the rodent issue is out of control. The rat poop can be seen inside my units and in the hallways leading up to my units. I've seen the rats running between the units on several occasions and my tubs in my units have holes in them from the rats chewing through the plastic.

I found a great price online after researching for weeks......2 months later they increased it by 20% They changed the locks on all the storage. They sent snail mail (I don't check my p.O.Box) instead of emailing or calling. No carts for customer use No trash bins I'll be looking to move soon.

I moved out of the Stanton location 2 months now and don't miss it one bit. My experience with Extra Space is the corporate office is very professional and polite but on site staff treat their customers bad. But it's the nature of the buisness. Corporate does alot in sales and treat people respectfully because of that side of a buisness as the location knows that they have to deal with a subset of people that may be in a tight spot. I would give this place -10000000 stars if I could. Allow me to explain to you what happened to me as a customer here. Back in July 2020 I got a storage shed here to keep my belongings secure and safe while I was away for the military. Keep in mind that the storage shed was indoors locked and you also needed a code to get into the gate as well as the room that led to the hallway where my storage shed was and there were security cameras. This place is extremely bad. They have a really bad homeless issue and no one cares about your safety. I called twice and put in a complaint. No one ever cared to resolve the issue. They have a "new" indoor storage building and it is full on homeless people living there. They have their things in the hallways and block off access to the units. Staff is always outta of the office. More concerned about what your doing than cleaning the place! People that are evicted come after office is closed and stay all nite! Walking the property and most likely breaking into units! After 2-3 months jack up prices to double what i moved in for. Not all that friendly.
