HEy anyone looking for a good storage place Extra Space in WHITTIER is the BEST! THe office staff run a great location- I sleep well at night knowing my stuff is secure, in a clean location and priced right for all they offer.
We needed some storage space asap. They had the best price hands down. And the staff was very helpful . Grace showed us around and we were ready to move in about 15 minutes. 10/10 service!
Friendly staff, area is secured and hours to access storage are perfect. Highly recommend. :-)
Super friendly and helpful staff, especially Rene . He went out of his way to help us.. I would highly recommend this storage site before going to any others ... Units are clean , easy access and prices were great. Even pro rated us a couple days instead of charging us for a whole month... I would go back here next time without hesitation...
Overall, it was a decent experience. The only thing that irked me (and the reason for 3 stars) was that the young lady helping me tried to lie just to upsell me. First, she told me that "protection" insurance was REQUIRED at an extra $13-15 a month. On top of my monthly storage dues. She even tried to scare me into buying the extra insurance by telling me a "true" story about a different storage location that burned down and all the people lost their belongings because they didn't have "protection" insurance. This was my first time using a storage facility so I did my homework and this place was by far the easiest to work with and also got a great rate. The facility itself is extremely secure and very well maintained. Grace, the manager, made the whole process very smooth and explained everything very well. They even offer locks and boxes to buy on site.
I've been a client at this facility for a little a year now,and I'm continually impressed by the great customer service I've received. All of the staff members I've encountered have always taken the time to check in with me and answer any questions I had. They explained the security measures they had in place, and offered me tips on both storing and protecting my belongings. Moved all my stuff out due to rat infestation. Rats chewed my daughters new mattress. They got into the box of her bed sheets/drapes and left droppings everywhere. Now I have to throw all these lightly used items away and I'm not getting reimbursed for any of it. On top of that there was no rat poison in our unit that we could see. I just think it's not right we are losing all our items due to this rat problem we thought our items were safe here but we sure were wrong.
