I have/had 3 RV spaces and 2 walk up 10' x 20' spaces at this location for 2 years. During these last 2 years, my trucks that I kept in the RV spaces have been damaged by people that stole my tools from the trucks after breaking all of the locks on the exterior doors to access the interiors of the trucks. Relative and I chose this place after moving out from our apt up the hill. It said and still does say "First month Free" on many signs around the building. I'm in sales so I knew it was the classic, bait'n'switch tactic. Obviously especially when multiple Yelpers experienced the same fuckry. Also, WARNING! Extremely unsafe units. The place itself is not safe as one might think. They keep on increasing and forcing to pay insurance. It's not worth it.

I reserved it online I thought it it was a free first ninth but when I went to the office .. The manager said its not free anymore cause it's the only 1 unit left the 4x4. False advertisement. And you have to bring your own lock.. Or they will charge locks for it.

I put my stuff in the locker bye the front and got robbed less then 7 days of have ing my stuff in the locker may 10 to May 17 I got robbed I'm 7dsys sick

The staff are dishonest. They don't want me to change the unit, so they told me this is the smallest unit. And also they changer me much more than what online shows. They charge me like 120 dollars for 1st month. And online shows 70 dollars. Don't come here. I won't come again and tell my friend do not come here for storage.

I just do not understand how the manager at this facility can be so nasty with someone who is renting and supporting their business...Does he not understand that the customers are always right.....My wife and I had to leave even though the folks at corporate Extra Space Storage are so NICE...this individual mgr we just cannot hack his nasty phone calls......

I initially chose a storage facility in the east bay, even though I live on the peninsula, because their rates were competitive. However, since opening my storage unit, my rates have gone up THREE times! I now pay $20 more than when I signed up. That's very unprofessional. The other thing is, is that this place is super creepy inside. I barely come here unless with a friend because the hallways of the storage facilities are really eerie and the lights are on a delayed sensor, so you walk into an dark abyss and then the ligh... read more

Please do not go here. After a few months I come back to my storage unit to see that the lock has been changed. When I asked the management they said they did not change my lock. Somebody cut my lock and stole my stuff and put a new lock on it. The management acted completely indifferent to my complaints. I had their monthly unit rental insurance and they said they will not pay me since there was no evidence of "forced entry" - meaning door was not broken.
