DO NOT STORE ANYTHING AT THIS LOCATION I am a recent college grad and stored my entire life belongings along with my car in one of their largest units. I am from Boston but my stuff is at their unit for when I move back out there. I received a voicemail yesterday that my ENTIRE unit except for my car was robbed and cleaned out. My unit was broken into 3 times, yes 3 times in 9 months. No help with filing a claim other than to supply us with the Santa Clara police phone number and insurance carrier info. Beecher Insurance was not responsive. Did not succeed in filing my claim due to their unresponsiveness. The rent started out at $126 for 5x10 space 8 years ago. Today we pay $232 for same unit. I've been renting here for the shear convenience because they are across the street from me. The place is well kept, clean and very convenient as all the units are drive up units so that great. What I DONT like about this place is that they Jack up your rate after 3-4 months. I went from paying $88 a month for a 5x10 unit to $142 for that same unit. Same thing happened with a larger unit I rent there. They increase the rent almost 30%!!! It's as if they only want you to be there for a few months. They are by far the most... read more

I just rented a space with them 3 months ago and they already increased my rent by 26%!!!I'm so disappointed in the greediness. It's such a pain to move storage spaces, but that is ultimately what I will have to do or sell my belongings there. Definitely do not recommend.

This is NOT a SAFE place to store your valuables. In March of this year our 2 year old RV Trailer was stolen. Driven off the lot by thieves. Made a police report. Never recovered. Regular monthly storage fees still had to be paid to reserve the spot. JUST LAST NIGHT our new replacement trailer was BROKEN INTO. Because we alarmed it, the thief ran off. I do not recommend you do business with this storage facility. I've spoken with the manager, Neil, multiple times to inquire about rate increases and credits to my account to which he was unhelpful and used diversionary tactics to try to discourage my questioning. There are much more honest and reputable storage facilities in the area that will work with you to ensure the safety of your belongings.

In the year and a half I've had storage here, they've raised the rate three times. First one was only after a couple months so don't believe the "web rate" because it doesn't last long. It went from $99 to $140 in a year and it's only a 7x10. After loading my Uhaul to move to Colorado, I didn't have enough room in the truck to take a couple empty cardboard boxes, a broken tv, and a broken printer to a dumpster so I figured they would just throw those away for me. I gave a 30 day notice to move out of the storage and the day of moving out the manager said i did not give 30 day notice therefor i had to pay one more month for an empty unit all because manager forgot to put it as a notice,Not only that manager was very rude and had no desire to help fix the problem i would never go back to any extra space storage due to the bad experience i had with them.. totally would not recommend this place

I talked to Josh because I was supposed to rent a storage unit for three months, from the beginning of the conversation he sounded very unkind and had no desire to help. He provided a condition that in order to rent a warehouse I had to pay insurance that was not required by law. I told him I would pay if needed. In any case, he canceled my arrival and rented the Unit for unexplained reasonable reasons. I don't know if it's legal, but it's wrong. He didn't let me talk from anywhere and he slammed the phone, he was soo RUDE.
