Ray and Kathy are wonderful! Very helpful, friendly and accommodating. My husband and I just signed up for our second unit there and Ray was very nice and friendly. He got us all set up quickly and efficiently. The place is very clean and well cared for. It's easy to get in and out and the location is perfect for us. We are very pleased with Extra Space Storage in Redwood City.
Meghan and Kathy are great and they go above and beyond to be helpful and to provide excellent service; The units are just what you expect and the facility is clean, bright, and accessible.

When it comes to insuring your belongings Extra Space Storage is the complete package! The service is friendly, professional and accommodating and will not let you spend more than you need on space. The storage compartments are clean, well kept, dry, open every day and easily accessible from multiple location within. Wow, this place is getting so much crap for service problems I haven't ever encountered. From making an appointment to checking out, I haven't seen nothing but sincere hospitality during my stay. Given my huge need for electronics, the climate control here is great for storing for the summer. I've seen college students both store for the entire summer and only for a month. So it's not shiny and new like other places. It is clean, and cheaper than other places. It is located off the 101. Kathy at the front desk is always pleasant to me. There aren't really an abundance of carts, but if there is one in the main office you can use that if you leave your drivers license with them. (As if you would steal a cart). Great staff here. Even though I don't store here, I did use the truck from this location to move my goods to my Extra Space unit in Belmont. One of the freebies with my unit was use of their truck for a day, and the truck for this area is kept here. Joseph from my Extra Space complex set it up for me, and sure enough when I showed up today to get my truck, it was all ready to go and waiting for me. The manager on site sent me a message that they changed and cut my lock due to a sitewide lock change and my old lock was still attached, then later told me that the lock had been cut by a 3rd party company who then entered my unit to put the old lock in there that was cut, after speaking to corporate I found out that was a lie as they told me the reason was the lock was associated with my old locker and needed to be changed. I wish I could give Extraspace Storage on Willow Rd., in Redwood City a ZERO. When we rented, we used the combination lock that was sold to us by Extraspace. Our unit was robbed in 2019. Extraspace management knew FOR MONTHS that a serial robber was robbing storage spaces in this facility. We were not told about this. Extraspace management knew that the model of lock that they had sold us was very vulnerable to picking.
