Our credit card info got stolen way back in December so an auto payment didn't go through. We IMMEDIATELY fixed it and are totally up to date on payments. We went in to retrieve some stuff on Sunday March 27, a full three months later, and there was still a red lock on our locker. A totally wasted trip, and of course no one was available to take it off. Real quick to block access to our stuff, not so quick to restore it.
Do not use this place. Total rip off. Our I tail cost per month was $250, but the time we left one year later it was $454. They neglect to tell you the price goes up every 3 months. My locker was broken into by Managemnt so they could sell me one of their locks for another $20. even after we moved out they continue tying to bill us. Seriously, DO NOT CONSIDER USING THIS PLACE.

We just went back to visit our unit and it had been messed with again. One item that was previously stolen was returned and at least two other items were stolen. We are emptying our unit ASAP. The manager of the facility didn't even care or try to be helpful throughout this process.
UPDATE: I finally moved out of Extra Space. Terrible company, terrible customer service and terrible experience. When my truck was packed I notified the manager on duty that I had moved out and that my unit was still filled with rat sh*t. The manager said, "Hmmmmm", and handed me my receipt. I will never be back.

Rats are everywhere at this place. So much of my stuff got invaded. They made a home in my mattress, etc. I have more than one unit and moved the important stuff to the noninvaded unit while they assured me they were taking care of the problem. The noninvaded unit now has rats nests there too. They have even offered to refund any of my money. Also, someone's unit was broken into and everything stolen and they didn't notify the owner. We just spoke to Todd, the District Manager, and we are sad to learn that there are no plans to change security processes at that location or any plans to change notification procedures when a theft occurs. No plans to add cameras that actual point at the storage units where our unit was located. The cameras only point at the elevators. This place is a treasure trove for any thief. Unfortunately have to corroborate Robin A's review -- apparently we've found rat dung and rodents in our unit in our 5th month storing household belongings during a home renovation, and I'm very upset to see this after an otherwise fine experience the first 4 months. And dealings with management (Kirk) have gone nowhere in fixing the issue . Do yourself a favor and pick from one of the many other self storage facilities in the area. This one has a major rat problem and there are no visible signs that Extra Space Storage is working to control it. I can't believe this is a public company. After 6 months, rats chewed through our expensive furniture that was wrapped for long term storage and left droppings everywhere. It is absolutely disgusting. I had all of my apartment furniture, clothes, and boxes in storage for 10 months at this facility. I checked on my stuff monthly and there were no major problems until I moved out. The day before I was planning to move everything out of storage, I noticed there was rat poop all over the floor. I heard a rat scurrying between the units adjacent to mine.
