Worst banking experience ever both on branch and on phone.... after 4 attempts finally paid off loan and will close all accounts.... truly pathetic.

I called the Fairwinds Credit Union at the Longwood location for questions about a possible car finance. I spoke with one of the managers at the location called Edwin. Mr. Edwin diligently answered my questions in details about the process. Later then, I received a call from the Loan Officer Evelina. She was very professional and explained all the details in how this process is. She was very professional and pointed in to the right direction. Awful customer service, they really do not care about your needs. Something simple they made it into a big deal. I am closing my business account with them and go somewhere else where they care about their customers.

They are unnecessarily picky. They reject to give a credit card to people who have excellent credit scores and high credit limits and low current dept. It's ridiculous.

Worst banking experience ever. I went in to to ask about these fees. The acting manager was rude, condescending and didn't listen. So I wound up closing the account. Way to resolve a simple question and lose a loyal customer of over 10yrs. You'd be better off banking with a big bank like fifth third. I switched to them immediately and feel like they actually value my business.

I have been with fairwinds since I had a child account and now I'm 28. They always took care of me. Now whenever I call to get information they never seem to give me the same information, the previous rep is always wrong (coming from the rep I spoke with) and that's continuous. I feel lied to and I will be leaving fairwinds

I am so done banking with Fairwinds. Their overdraft fees and policies are absolutely ridiculous. You overdraft even by $5 and boom $35 overdraft fee. Anything else goes through for any little amount and boom another $35 fee. So really you over draft $10 and owe Fairwinds $70. DO NOT BANK WITH FAIRWINDS. Terrible credit union and never do anything to help. The only answer you get is "there's nothing we can do about it. It's a federal regulation." I have banked with Fairwinds for years and bought a few vehicles using thier loan. The first two loans I contacted Fairwinds and had a great experience and the process was perfect. Fast forward to my 3rd loan. This time I financed thru the dealer and didn't contact Fairwinds. I was contacted the next day by Fairwinds ( they called me unsolicited) We discussed the loan and he mentioned the he could get me a rate of 1/2 percent lower. I have had nothing but exceptional service that continues to exceed my expectations with this Fairwinds location. Specifically Sheila Lopez, the energy and positivity she brings to the room. She is dependable, charismatic and has an unparalleled work ethic. She is an impressive crew member who has always gone above and beyond every visit.
