I think that if you are on a tight budget this place is ok. You must be willing to accept a MUCH lower standard of service on all levels. The banking centers are slow. The customer service for Mortgages is not good. Let me give you one example. I tried these guys for one home loan. I have used other places for other loans and they were not great either. However this place takes the cake. My mortgage bill shows up on the 27th or 28th each month. This last month it did not show up at all. It is due on the 1st of each month. Th... read more

This branch is consistently the slowest branch at the drive through. We normally go to the Wekiva Springs branch. If in a hurry don't come here.

Honestly I love the bank itself but this location is absolutely horrible you better bring a snack with you or a book to read cause they take there sweet time. I haven't had a drive through experience less then 30min the staff is friendly but has no motivation to actually get to the next person, they'll walk around waiting almost as if they hope they won't have to wait on another person it's a bit aggravating and I'm not one to write reviews but after 10+ times and none of them have been any different.

I must agree with Letty F however she gave a extra star and the only reason why I gave it one was because you have too to write a review. I open the account online on Monday and on Wednesday had to go in to the branch. I signed in and sat down and waiting and waiting, I saw and heard two worker just talking about they day, after 7 minutes I got out one of the lady look at me and continues to talk another lady came from the back and told the lady that she had someone waiting. I love my Fairwinds family. This location might be my favorite in Orlando! Although this location is in the heart of Downtown Orlando they are never busy, or at least they work so efficiently I couldn't tell. The staff is incredibly welcoming and are always ready to assist and provide offers if available. I appreciate the staff being consistent also. I'm finally doing it... Leaving this branch a two-star review. I hate to do it because overall I am very satisfied with Fairwinds as a whole. This branch however, just doesn't do it for me. The drive through is always a wreck. I'm not talking about Friday afternoon when everyone is scrambling to get to the bank. I'm talking about the middle of the day, middle of the week. I would actually like to write a review for the branch in Maitland, Florida off of Orlando Ave however there doesn't seem to be a location listed. I have done all my banking there for years and can't say enough good things about them. As a credit union in general, I expect that they would have higher standards than most banks because they are community run, which means their members vote for on their board of directors and generally have the CEO on speed dial. They used to be good, but their rates are horrible with high fees. Plus, their customer service is now totally unresponsive and their site does not work well. Avoid them at all costs. Currently, they put my account on hold, and they will not close it. I have recently filed reports with the BBB and credit union. Avoid at all costs.

Great credit union located near UCF and research park. Usually pretty quite, except for lunch time.
