RecommendedWe had a great experience with these guys over the weekend. Our dog had an emergency and they were very kind and openly communicated what was happening with him at all times. I always felt as though our boy was well taken care of and the staff truly cared about him. They even called a few days later to ensure he was still doing well. Would highly recommend this vet clinic and appreciate them being available at anytime to help us with all of our fur babies. 🥰
Due to an unforeseen emergency circumstance we had to rush our 'Ella' to the hospital. Staff did not waste time to look after our little girl. We are so grateful. Thank you to all staff. Staff were extremely friendly, knowledgeable and caring. We definitely recommend Family Pet Hospital. We now have a great vet for our little girl.

Excellent service and care, I had a student vet who went above and beyond, the front desk staff were so helpful, and handled my animals better than I could while I was in there. They always go above and beyond what you expect. The cost was fair and worth it. highly recommend 👌
I called because my hamster was sick, but as soon as I went in, they took him to the back, and took great care of him, I've never had to give a hamster a syringe of medicine till last night, but that's ok, they did what the promised, and helped my baby, they are fantastic vets, and they are always willing to put their all into animals, tiny as a hamster, or big as a great Dane, please, if your pet needs vet care, consider them.
I have been there three times now. The first time was almost a year ago my old kitty had a seizure and on the way there sadly passed. They WERE amazing and so sensitive to my situation. the cat they have Tigger was the best thing for me that day. She smelled my kitty then started hopping around and rubbing on me it made me smile in a dark time.. Family Pet Hospital are amazing! I would recommend them to anyone and everyone that needs veterinary or emergency care for their animals. Two of our cats were injured during a house fire, Family Pet Hospital immediately attended to their needs on arrival while being calm and comforting to us during the extremely stressful situations. Huge thank you and shout out to Amber the vet tech at Family Pet - my 10 year old Sadie girl had 3 grand mal seizures last night seemingly out of the blue, and this pup mom was a wreck. When I came to pick her up this evening Amber was incredibly compassionate, and took 45 minutes to explain to me the whole situation and treatment plan, help me understand what exactly the medication does, assess diet considerations, get clarification from the vet as needed, and I could go on. Brought our black lab Sadie in last night from Enchant AB as she was vomiting profusely. All the staff were so caring. Very grateful for the care they provided!! When we went to pick her up today it was a very busy place so I think that also shows they’re a trusted vet. This was our 1st time there as we live in Calgary.
