RecommendedFamily Pet Hospital are amazing! I would recommend them to anyone and everyone that needs veterinary or emergency care for their animals. Huge thank you and shout out to Amber the vet tech at Family Pet - my 10 year old Sadie girl had 3 grand mal seizures last night seemingly out of the blue, and this pup mom was a wreck. When I came to pick her up this evening Amber was incredibly compassionate, and took 45 minutes to explain to me the whole situation and treatment plan, help me understand what exactly the medication does, assess diet considerations, get clarification from the vet as needed, and I could go on. Brought our black lab Sadie in last night from Enchant AB as she was vomiting profusely. All the staff were so caring. Very grateful for the care they provided!! When we went to pick her up today it was a very busy place so I think that also shows they’re a trusted vet. This was our 1st time there as we live in Calgary. Spent a lot of time checking over our kitty after ftiting us in the same day. Very friendly staff .The fee was very reasonable. We just found our new vet! 5 stars
they are very very thorough ..they are empathetic and they are decently priced...We took our poor kitten in with a very infected eye on a sunday and they were just amazing to deal with.!!From now on all our pets will be going there ...Thank you very much for the kindness you showed to our kitten!!!!!❤😎
was super grateful someone could give my boy a booster rabies vaccine after he got into a fight with a raccoon in the early morning! spent all day trying to find a vet accepting new patients and no one could help. I was too scared to wait the 2 or 3 weeks to get my boys vaccination. Called family pet hospital and they had me come in within 20 minutes! my boys a rescue and has never been without me and afraid of men and dog reactive. they didn't judge his breed and gave him so much love and praise. This wonderful place saved my furbaby's life and I will be grateful to them for the rest of my life. The doctors were all top-notch and every one of the staff was kind and informative. I called there numerous times, day and night, and they were so friendly and helpful. They called me everytime something changed or was done to her too, just to keep me updated. If I ever have a pet emergency again I will definitely go right there! Thank you again to the doctors and nurses and staff.

They are so caring and thorough! You can tell they don't just help because it's their job, they help because they care and want your animal to get healthy! They listen to your concerns, and explain everything back in detail. I had an amazing experience with them and I highly recommend!
