To make an extremely long story short, they need to have at least two or more providers there to speed up the process. I was there from 2:45 to almost 6pm.... :-( There also needs to be more friendly staff! The med assistant I dealt with tonight was the most rude, nonchalant and overall unfriendly person I've ever met! Her attitude screams, "I hate my life!" They pick and chose who goes first they tell some people it's a 2 hour wait for some it's 1 hour but for me I have been here for 3 hours and still no sign of getting the help I need save yourself and just go to the er

I checked in online but still waited almost 3 hours before I was seen. I would not have minded the wait too much if the visit has been worth it. But it was not. The doctor asked me a few questions, did not even examine me, and was in my room for a total of 2 minutes before sending me to the hospital for an ultrasound. She told me Cape fear would likely be busy so she recommended I drove 40 min to the hospital in Dunn or Lillington. I asked if she needed to call ahead and she said that would not help anything. I don't mind waiting to be seen when I go to an urgent care, so the 2 hour wait didn't bother me. What does bother me is when you can hear the the health care providers discuss patient information and laugh or snicker over triage information amongst themselves. The doors and walls are not thick patients can hear everything you say, remember people have feelings!

I woke up sick March 31st, Easter weekend. I decided to use online checkin for the Ramsey St location. The last time I came my wait time was 3 hours! When I arrived on time for my 12 noon apt. The monitor had one person ahead of me. Exactly one hour later the nurse comes out and takes someone else ahead of me! What is the point of online checkin!
I've been here twice, and both times the wait time has been reasonable and the front desk staff and nurses has been fantastic. My issue has been with the PAs there at the time didn't seem very knowledgeable. They seem like they might been students from the local university. The first time I went for wrist pain ( I thought I sprained it) and he essentially told me he didn't know what was wrong, and the second time more recently I went for lingering congestion and was prescribed antibiotics without her doing anything but liste... read more
My niece checked in online an hour and a half before she took her son here. When she got there they told her they don't treat children and she needed to go to the pediatric er at the hospital. He has something in his foot. Clearly Urgent care not er. They need to change how they advertise on the internet! Very disappointing!!!!!

I experienced the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life at quickmed throughout the multiple times I gave them a chance to fill my prescription. It took over 45 minutes to fulfill my prescription, and they did not have the correct amount of medicine required from my doctor. Please, do not waste your time to come here. And horrible location, lazy staff, and the worst cuatomer service you will ever experience!

What really made me give this place a one star was the medical assistance. Not friendly, not smiling nothing. Basically she didn't want to be there and it just seem as though she treated me as though I had little no intelligent. However, The PA and the receptionist was super nice and understanding.
