My mum was a respite resident in September 2021. She was well looked after and always looked clean and smart (which made her happy). Her hair was washed and styled every week (she loved her hair being styled) Unfortunately, Mum became ill at home in November 2021 and was admitted to hospital. She was transferred to Fenchurch House Care Home for the end of her life. The staff were so caring to Mum and also to my husband and I. Warm and friendly staff. Helpful. Very well organised. Nothing is too much trouble. The staff go out of their way to help you even if you are a visitor.

My mother used to live 200 miles away from me and my wife. Having decided that she needed to move into care, we searched the local area for a suitable home where she could be comfortable. Fenchurch House Care Home is a modern purpose-built home. Mum is settling in well enjoying the activities and making new friends. She is particularly complimentary about the standard of the food and the helpfulness of the staff. It has taken a load off our minds knowing that she is safe and well looked after.

Mum was at a different care home and was moved as her mobility decreased. In both homes, she has had excellent care even though occasionally she can be difficult. Now she has a ground floor room and is definitely less stressed and happier.

My mother initially went into Fenchurch House Care Home on respite care due the illness of my father. This was in January and was the height of the recent Covid-19 lockdown. The care and compassion shown by the whole team to her on the subsequent death of her husband of over sixty five years was amazing. It was so hard on all of us that we weren't able to be with her but the staff became her family and for this all of us will be eternally grateful. My mother moved in two weeks ago. The building, bedrooms and communal rooms are of a standard to her own home. She is treated as an independent person but with the safety of the staff. She has felt safe and enjoyed the interaction with other residents and staff. She is not told when to get up or go to bed. he has a choice of meals. The staff are always on hand to help with issues. I am extremely satisfied.

We are very happy to have found Fenchurch Care Home for our Mum. She needed respite care from hospital for 6 weeks, as she has settled in so well and unable to manage by herself at home soi is going to stay full time. Mum loves the food and always tells me there is a choice. The staff are very kind to her and treat her with respect and dignity. Fenchurch is like a 5-star hotel, decorated beautifully and facilities are great. The gardens surrounding the home are landscaped to a very high standard including a summer house.

Fantastic and very helpful. My mum is so much happier here, it’s clean bright and very modern. The staff go above and beyond to help and are all very professional. I would recommend Fenchurch House to everyone.
