The optometrists who conducted the eye exam and the glaucoma test was very friendly and professional. The ophthalmologist, Dr. Tu, who performed additional tests to make sure my pre-diabetic condition was not causing any other problems also was friendly and professional.
It was my first experience with the Fitchman eye center and it was a very pleasant experience. Extremely friendly staff and Doctor. They took the time to explain everything. I would highly recommend this eye center.

Dr. Fichman did the cataract surgery on my right eye 3 years ago and I was very pleased with the outcome. Now it is time to have a cataract removed from my left eye and Dr. Fichman is again the doctor I have chosen. Dr. Fichman answered all my questons, making me feel very comfortable with my decision to have the surgery. His office staff is very friendley and helpful with the pre-op procedures.
Dr. Fichman and his Practice and staff is a standard that other medical practices of various types should attempt to model. You not only get the best care including the best technology, but the true care and concern from the entire staff. I can't say enough about the positive treatment and experience regarding my cataract surgery. My home location is in the Torrington office (where my favorite team is) and surgery was in Manchester. Trust Dr. Fichman. He's committed to perfect results.
I absolutely love the Finchman Eye Group. Before I had my cataract left eye surgical implant, my vision was a -10; and now, I can see a piece of lint on a black shirt 6 feet away. When I opened my eyes, I felt like I have been missing a great deal in my life. Thank you Dr. Finchman for helping me see so much better; in fact, after I pay off my bill, I am very much contemplating having a lens implant in my right eye, because my vision is wonderful now. You are excellent.
