The service and food were both good as we dined outside. The staff was attentive and accomodating to our small group even with several larger groups around us.
The restaurant is absolutely beautiful. It's very inviting and the waitresses are very friendly. The service is also superb. The waitress was very polite and prompt with all of the orders and constantly came to check up on us. The food was good. It wasn't amazing since I came there for lunch. Love the concept of an "Americanized" Mongolian bbq, but the food just seemed to be lying there. no labels on the meat and seafood. just hunks of stuff anonymously soaking in pallid liquid in bowls. overall, good taste and good service.
Great option if you're going out with others who have different tastes in food than you do. There's pretty much everything here that would suit just about any palette. Vegetarian friendly. I would like to see a few more interesting sauces on offer.
Fire and Ice Grill is a fun, Mongolian style restaurant. The food is good and fresh. None of the standard freeze dried, rolled up meat that you'd find in regular Mongolian bbq's. Very good selection of meat and produce. The only thing that we have found lacking has been the service. We have been a couple of times now, and the wait staff has been fairly slow each time. The guys working the grill have been fantastic. Very energetic and engaging.
You create your own meal from the amazing selection of fresh vegetables, steak, chicken and seafood, noodles and sauces. It's Asian style Mongolian BBQ, so you fill your bowl with your selections and the chefs grill it up while you watch. If you feel like diverging from Asian cuisine, there are fixings for spaghetti and meatballs, fettucini or have them grill up a hamburger. The food bar was not well stocked or maintained. The shaved meat was very chewey. I think they should help with the recommended level of sauce as my son's was very heavily sauced.
In town for a conference, meeting colleagues with many different tastes - this was extraordinarily pleasant experience. Food was good, and we even had fun watching it being prepared.
Fire+Ice is a modern twist on the Mongolian BBQ. Fire+Ice has a stylish dinning lounge with a great selection of quality foods to choose from. The host accommodated my request with no problems and with our reservation we waited less than 3 minutes to be seated. The wait staff was friendly but the chefs made the evening.
