Great food but we made a reservation and then had to wait an extra 50 minutes before being seated
We booked our table because Fire and Ice is very close to the Dorothy Quincy Suite and the weather was brutally cold, even in the relatively short walk from the Common. We were seated quickly and the waiter was prompt. However, the large windows aren't well insulated and the seating area was cold. Although the three chefs in charge of the grill were pretty cheerful and always busy, seeing all the scraps in the ring around the grill was unpleasant. Fun time but we just wish kids weren’t allowed there, should but 21+
FIre and Ice remains a reliable spot for each member of a group to customize exactly what they want in their dish and then watch it get cooked on the big griddle in the middle of the room. Fun for groups, we came here with our family of four. At $21 per person, it is not cheap eats, but it is realiably fun and tasty.
It was great! Or server was great and funny, the food was very good, and I thoroughly enjoyed the cool take on restaurant food. The service was a tiny bit slow, but that's to be expected on a busy saturday, and our server made sure to promptly bring our stuff right over.
So much fun! Fantastic server, got food right away, and great fresh food!
This was our first visit. The food was great and the way it is prepared on a large round grill is unique. The only issue was the place we sat was cold. And this was on a cold winter's day. The waiter said the a/c was on because other patrons had said it was too hot! Not so. Nothing was done to accommodate us with the cold. Next time, we will ask to move to another table. The table next to us also had some really noisy kids but what can you do. Overall, we would recommend this restaurant.
When we were seated we didn’t have a server. My husband eventually went up and asked for assistance so we could drink some water. In general it was an okay experience. It is a unique dining experience but I Probably wouldn’t go again.
Just eh. Not overwhelming. Not for over 30 somethings. Don't plan on being able to hear your waiter/waitress giving you an explanation on how the operation works - music is a bit loud. Nice being able to design your own stir fry, but, eh...
