We visited Fire and Ice for lunch. It was our first time visiting and our server helped orient us to the format of eating. We enjoyed customizing our meal. It was a great way to end our vacation in Boston.
It was excellent. We had a big group of 15, and even though some people showed up late, we were still able to get our original reservations. The service was great and everyone had a great time.
Overall the time at fire+ice was extremely fun. The service definitely needs work though. I understand there are many tables and people and on a night like college night it get's a bit crazy, but this is my fourth time at the fire+ice and 3 out of 4 times the service was not good. Getting the first drink is easy but if you want another drink you basically wait until you're done eating. The server only came by once during dinner and only refilled half the drinks. I found the food was very good but the restaurant needs a up grade I found it very old looking
Food was great! There's a million different combinations to serve everybody's tastes. I recommend it to all my friends.
This was for a birthday dinner and we had a great time. The only complaints I have are: 1. We had an 8pm reservation and weren't seated until 8:40pm. 2. It was also INCREDIBLY hot upstairs during dinner. Probably not much that can be done about that with a huge grill in the middle of the restaurant though. Other than those two, we have a marvelous time!
Monday nights are college nights. When you bring a valid id your dinner is $10, this is the only time I will go as the drinks and food are quite expensive. The servers expect 20% tips after only bringing the table drinks, clearing plates, and bringing the bill.
One of the cooks seemed new. He was very slow.WE were there for brunch and I was hoping for a crepe but It was "pancakes only". The other cooks were very competent and cooked everything well and quickly.
Everything was great! The cooks were fantastic and a lot of fun!
