It was insanely packed. We chose the 5pm time frame. People were ruining the night. Couldn't eat with our group due to everyone not getting their food made at the same time. Other people were pushing everyone. There was no order. Waitress was horrible. Apps were delivered cold. Drinks kept getting placed wrong. My kids dont drink soda and that's all that kept coming to the table. Worse time coming. We have been here before and never experienced such chaos. Drive 2 hours each way for a horrible night.
Business response:
Mary, thank you for giving us a try. Valentine’s weekend and peak dinner hours can definitely bring a high-energy crowd, but it should never feel chaotic or take away from your experience. Cold apps, incorrect drinks, and service that felt disorganized are not the standard we aim to deliver — especially for a first visit. Because our concept is interactive and cooked fresh on a shared grill, meals don’t always come out at the exact same time, but the flow of service should still feel coordinated and attentive. It’s especiall... read more
We chose this restaurant to go to after an event in Boston. The whole concept is cool, but its overwhelming deciding what to put together. Unfortunately, no matter what you choose to eat. It is cooked to a crisp. The chefs leave pasta and noodles in the same spot for over 5 minutes, making them hard as a rock. My kids tried several different options with the same results. My burger was crunchy! Even when we would ask for our food off the grill early, it was still charred (not in a good way) Service was hard to get, no refill... read more
Business response:
Jessica, we appreciate you giving FiRE+iCE a try. Our interactive dining concept is definitely a unique one—it’s hands-on, fast-paced, and all about creative combinations—but we know it’s not for everyone. While we’re sorry to hear it didn’t click for your group, we’re glad you gave us the chance to be part of your post-event evening. Wishing you many great culinary adventures ahead!
After reading some positive reviews we drove the hour to Boston from Providence to visit the old Fire and Ice we used to go to in Providence years ago. It was my daughters 17th birthday and I wanted her to have the experience of what I remembered Fire and Ice to be. This was far from that. I was highly disturbed at how unsanitary the entire upstairs was. The metal bowls wet with stuck food, the buffet area with miscellaneous food all over the ice just for starters. The amount of people in one area couldn’t possibly be up to ... read more
Business response:
Cayla, we're genuinely sorry to hear that your experience didn't live up to your expectations—especially on such a special occasion. While our restaurant often gets busy during peak times, cleanliness and comfort should never be compromised. We’re disappointed to hear your visit felt overcrowded and chaotic, and we take concerns like this seriously. That said, we're grateful you took a moment to recognize Illiana for her service. Your feedback has been noted and will be shared with our team for review.
We got there before dinner rush purposely and the table and floor were still very, very dirty. Food stations had variety and were stocked. However, the stations you stood to wait for grill were covered in sauces. I didn't see a single person cleaning the entire visit. Cook time seemed to either way over or undercooked. However, the waitress was very attentive, informative and greeted us promptly. Fun to watch the "show" of the cooks working the grill. I wouldn't come back due to food quality and cleanliness.
Business response:
Hi Lori,Thank you for your honest feedback. We're truly sorry to hear that the cleanliness and food quality fell short during your visit—those are areas we take seriously, and your comments will be addressed with our team. That said, we're glad to hear our server made a positive impression and that you enjoyed the grill experience. We appreciate you giving us a try and will work hard to improve based on your insights.
While this place works for folks who eat meat, for vegetarians this is not a place that offers value.
Business response:
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, Harsh. We're sorry to hear the experience didn’t meet your expectations as a vegetarian guest. While we do offer a variety of plant-based ingredients and sauces, we understand how important it is to also feel that the value is there. We’ll continue improving on that front.
This was my mistake for not understanding what Fire & Ice is. The formality level/ambiance was similar to a mall food court. I tried two of the sauces and they were both bland. Also it was so, so, so loud. However I was pleasantly surprised by the bill. It's certainly not overpriced. And our server was attentive and professional. It would be a fun place to come for a 21st birthday.
Business response:
Thanks for giving FiRE+iCE a try—and for your honesty, Sarah! Our concept is definitely a one-of-a-kind blend of casual, high-energy dining with a fully customizable experience, so we understand it’s not for everyone. While we’re bummed the sauces didn’t wow you, we’re glad to hear the value stood out and that you see the fun potential for birthdays or group outings. If you’re ever up for giving us another go, we’d love to help you build a flavor-packed bowl that hits just right.
We were seated and charged for thee brunch menu vs the regular that is fine but we were seated ar 230 brunch is only served until 3 No one said they take the foods before three so if you don’t get brunch items before your issue they still charge you as if you are having brunch but don’t prvide the brunch food It says until 3 we asssumed that it was available for people seating at 3 too Never going there again
Business response:
Hi Joanne, we’re sorry to hear about the confusion surrounding the timing of our brunch service. Brunch items are available until 3 PM, but we understand how it could be unclear for those seated close to that time. Your feedback is helpful, and we’ll be reviewing how we communicate this more clearly moving forward. We regret that this impacted your visit and appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.
The cooks were slow, to expensive, won’t come back again
Business response:
Hi Alex, we’re sorry your visit didn’t meet expectations. While we aim to serve fresh, made-to-order food quickly—even during peak hours—it sounds like we missed the mark for you. We appreciate the feedback and will share your comments with our team.
