The last two times I've been here for a special occasion, the drinks have been flat and watered down, people cutting in front and pushing us out of the way of the grill. Used to be a great relaxed atmosphere and we loved driving the two hours for the special occasions for either lunch or dinner.
Seemed way more low-end / mass market than my first experience at the Cambridge location many years ago. Waiter didn't come by once to see if we wanted more drinks, etc. Guys grilling were the friendliest
Not enough cooks at grill. Extremely long line. Wasnt wirth wait fir all u can eat.
The bad: Very disorganized, bartender was knowingly serving beer from mixed beer lines, host stand employees were not friendly, actually, most of the employees were harried, looked overwhelmed and did not smile. It seems that the restaurant knows people will visit, so it really doesn't matter what the service is like. The good: The food options are very good. It was fun to watch the guys preparing our food.
Terrible experience. We were seated at 8:20 for a 7:30 reservation and that was only after complaining. No comp, no apology. Hostesses on another planet. Checked in they lost our reservation. We had 20 minutes to eat, get check and make a show. Unacceptable!
Coming on a Sunday there where two cooks. There was a few guys cleaning the grill and joking and tossing buns. But for people who want to eat experience fire and ice and have to catch the t. It's time consuming. It took a while to cook my food. I didn't get a burger or anything that was time consuming yet I still had to wait until the people in front of me where done first. They had burgers and ect. All I had was some shrimp and noodles something that should of taken 5 min took 20 min. Then we tipped out waitress 20% and I w... read more
The cooks appeared to be overwhelmed by the patrons. Unfortunately, an extra cook showed up as we were leaving. Food was not being cooked like it could have. My burger was overcooked and my cheese was not melted. Kids liked it. I
The food was outstanding, preparation, and presentation of the cooking method, in addition to the amazing cooks who put on a great show and are very enthusiastic. Unfortunately this was greatly overshadowed by the dining area's temperature, the restaurant was blisteringly hot, and we were seated on an outside wall, about as far from the Grill as possible both times I've been here, it was a nice cool 50 degree outside but inside it was uncomfortable to sit and enjoy your food, everyone in my party left half a plate of food be... read more
yes, you're right it is different, but come on it is so unorganized it is shameful. How a place like this even got popular is beyond me. My wife and I stood at the grill waiting for about 30 mins. and kept getting moved around the grill thing in the middle. so unorganized and over crowded. Way to many people were in this place and surprisingly the fire department hasn't shut them down with how are it can be to move around in this place. I do have to say that the staff was very accommodating and very nice for how crowded it w... read more
