Seriously poor service. I called them for work on my central A/C, which their previous incarnation (Comfort Mechanical) installed. They recharged my coolant for $400, which seemed steep but I had no comparison and wanted the A/C back on. Within a week, A/C is back to not cooling. They return and see that my coil is leaking (why they didn't check this in the first place I don't know) and needs to be replaced. They also tell me that since the unit is under warranty that the part will be free and that I would have to pay f... read more

"This place has the worst customer service!! I was on hold for 20 minutes and then greeted by someone who did not care to be on the phone with me and transferred my call without even letting me finish my sentence. I got the voice mail of some lady. I left a message but with no heat I decided to call back after a couple of hours and no one had gotten back to me, I called and waited all over again just to be treated poorly again. I was told that if I had left a voice mail them I would get a call back soon. I didn't get a call ... read more

I have to agree with the above poster. I am a residential customer and have worked with them on and off for over two years for basically the same problem, which they can't seem to fix. Also, they do work that's NOT authorized. We had a full tune up a year ago exactly and today when they came to work on a warranty problem they did a tune up again! This wasn't what we called for. I wish we had another option, but the landlord works exclusively with this company and I didn't feel I could choose another. When and if this fan pr... read more

I'm a commercial customer, I had a contract to service two furnaces in a building. We've been a customer since around 2008, its 2012 and we've had to terminate them. The main issue with this company is that their technicians are lazy, they kept billing us for 'trip charges' that i don't believe happened. They would repeatedly claim that our keylock box didn't have a key in it. I'd go check and find it working perfectly and key intact and working. This isn't just once or twice, looking back its at least 6 times in the last ... read more

The customer service attitude is EXTREMELY TERRIBLE... I had REALLY BAD experiences with them. I would NEVER recommend them at all! After the technician performed annual furnace tune up service, I woke up next morning sickening by the awful burning plastic smell throughout the entire house!! I called customer service wanting to get a technician come back and check what went wrong, she said the technician came to my house had a really good skills (which has nothing to do with what I was asking!!) She said "It might ... read more

It's like comcast. It's okay when there's no problems, but when there is, I'm not pleased with the disregard from the office even if it's eventually resolved. Customer service could use some help. Point in question: We're on an auto-fill program that's supposed to keep us from running out of oil. For the last 3 years I've had to call to ask them to come out cause I can smell that the oil is running low. I want to avoid the bottom of the tank, if I do not, then I have to have them come out and clean the filters. I also have... read more

Technicians literally came out 8 times over two months and kept mis-diagnosing issues with our furnace. After almost 3 months and hundreds of dollars the problem ended up being an inexpensive one that my husband suspected (and was rebuffed) from the beginning. I would never recommend First Call for oil delivery or furnace repair of any kind.
