I purchased new modular home and this company installed a new heating/hot water system in September 2015. The system FAILED 14 MONTHS later. I have no heat, no hot water and no satisfaction from the company. They would not even pay the lousy $60 to overnight it so after spending approx. $9,000 for the system, I now have to pay $1,123.58 additional. So I was a customer of Priestley Oil for years. Loved the owners and their assistants. But another small local company bites the dust. First Call is apparently buying everyone. Now they are too big and oh so rude. I got some lady named Melissa. Maybe the rudest person I have ever spoken too. I hung up on her and called another company. Run away and don't call these people. Ever.

They came to service the heater and left the heater more broken than before. When I called to find out what happened, they said to call the property manager. Very unprofessional, poor customer service, and lack integrity. Will never use this provider again.

Our technician diagnosed the recommended repairs that were beyond the pre-approved amount and due to the age of the furnace and cost of repairs, recommended replacement which was all communicated to the rental management company so they could get authorization from the owner. Two stars because they came out right away and on time for service appointment for my furnace that wasn't working. Dan came out and said I needed a new motherboard and seemed really interested in selling me a regular service plan. He told me the new motherboard and cleaning would be $1,300 if I bought the service plan. If I didn't purchase the service plan it was closer to $1,500. He seemed so focused on selling me on the service plan that I told him I just wasn't comfortable making a decision. He said to call him back... read more
Low standards. Poor installation. Doesn't honor their warranty. Examples: 1. Only one guy showed up to do the job when they needed two. Much later in the day some guy showed up, but didn't seem to know anything about installing our new furnace, AC, HEPA filter and duct work. 2. When running cooper pipe for the AC, they bent the crap out of it and then still used it, claiming it wouldn't matter. 3. Seems they do better with oil furnace's from the reviews!!!!We used First Call to install our Central Air (replacement for our 20 yr old Lennox) I have had to call them out two more times since the install... they made a complete ugly mess out of everything they did... We had a service contract with an oil heater. They were responsible for any repairs to keep the unit running. The 3rd or 4th service we were told the heater had a crack and needed replacing, releasing them from their contract. Everything was running fine! We had a reputable service company come out to inspect. The technician found no issue what-so-ever, and explained how the unit would act if there was a crack (quite differently). NOT impressed with the workers that showed up today. Not an ounce of apology for being 3 hours late. I told him he would not be able to get in if he was late on the next scheduled day, as i would be leaving that day, and he had the audacity to say i had an attitude. Really bad business practice. Will not be recommending this company.
First Call's service desk is frustrating - - unhelpful and unapologetic! Today was my 7th annual a/c & heating tune-up, scheduled between 1-4. At 1:30 I received a call from the service desk advising that my tech was "running late" At 4pm, still no service tech. So I called the service desk.
