Customer service is TERRIBLE. I’ve been trying to get in contact with someone at the credit union for 1 week. I’ve left my call back number but NEVER receive a call back. I’ve waited on hold for hours. No one will pickup.

The worst banking establishment with which I have been associated. Modified my account number and supposedly notified me by mail. Not notified me of the new account number, notified me that it changed. Can you imagine writing a check using your original account number and then it changes? Fortunately, I found out when trying to do an electronic transfer into the account, which was rejected. Horrible with members with credit cards. I’ve been trying to pay by balance down, not using my card. The lowered my limit 3 times in one year so that it would look like my card was maxed out. This makes my credit look bad. Paid $300 in January when my minimum amount due is $25, only to get a letter that my card would not be renewed. Makes no sense. I’m glad the other credit unions I bank with are not like this.

For all my Military, Military Families, Veterans and retirees...avoid Firstmark at all costs when it comes to car loans. The policies towards military, especially those on official PCS orders is appalling and disrespectful. I will NEVER use this credit union again, I don’t care how good their rates are, what I have had to go through with them regarding my car loan has been horrific and extremely stressful.

Since this bank changed from teachers credit union it has gone down hill. They are horrible to work with and you are just a number. I have been a member for 40 years but as soon as I pay my credit card off I’m not returning. I’ve already closed my other accounts with them.
