They start to tell you a story about how you they only get the best employees & equipment. You sign up to do your part to help minimize your foot print all good feelings, until you sign the the contract. After that radio silence for 3 months then you get a phone call. Hey we are here to install your solar panels.... Number is from out of state cause why would they hire people in the state they are working in. At this point they don't deserve 1 star. The lack of communication and lack of customer service is beyond frustrating. They took several months to even hook up our system and along the way did not communicate issues, we had to ask and got sent in a loop of frustrations with little to no answers. I've been trying to reach anyone because they owe me $531 and at first got the run around and now nothing, I've been ghosted. I'm not happy at all.

I have been working with Fluent Solar since July, and everything sounded amazing as I signed the documents. We’re now in December and I have had the hardest time getting any updates whatsoever. I have talked to half a dozen employees, emailed even more, had dozens of promises that they would get my solar service set up as quickly as they can and everything is Rocky Mountain Powers fault. They are more then happy to sell you their system, then have someone else install it. They also do not follow the any kind of protocol. In my area solar needs to be reviewed by a licensed electrician, who then sends it to the power company for review and approval. They did none of this, they installed it so they could start billing as soon as it was on the roof. After I contacted the city to verify the status of my permit they sent someoneout to do the work. I have never worked with a company that sold you their product then would not return your calls and emails. We had a salesmen by the name of Skyler C********** come to our house and sale us their solar panels and tell us how great the company was and that they sold our neighbor down the street solar also. We signed the contract and started the process. Of course the loan company was fast to get our signatures (5/16/2020). And Fluent did have the solar panels put on a bout a week after. I think you guys are terrible. We have had at least 1 person a week since March come to our door trying to sell solar with the opening line of "Xcel says you have to do this. You will be fined if you don't." We called Xcel today and they told us that the salesperson who showed up was absolutely NOT with them and that what he is saying is fraudulent and a scam. You need to RETRAIN your sales team.
