Have been working with fluent for 8 months Making payments on system still not installed. Have to make numerous calls to see when installation will be complete..homeowner has to make all calls .no customer service. Would not reccomend company for work. When and if installation gets complete will hire another solar company to make sure installation is done right

Fluent is a company I would not recommend. From the beginning of the installation until well after the system was turned on, this company has been terrible. They have trouble communicating with myself (the homeowner), their own company, internally, and with their subcontractors. I had to take time off work several times for installations that I was told were scheduled only to have nobody show as the electricians were never informed. It took 10 months for them to finally get our system up and running from installation date. Many calls and texts, all the while paying the bill, a tech finally got running...mostly. Several panels still weren’t producing. I put in a service ticket through SolarEdge and a tech showed up 2 days later. Fast if you compare that to the last 10 months. PETE, the electrician, showed up, did yet another firmware update. He stayed till it was complete, retested the system to make sure all was working, and asked me to call him back if... read more

Do not use this company! It took 5 months to get them to properly install the panels. I have to pay for the Loan on the solar panels and my full energy bill. I was promised this would not happen. It has and they have not fixed anything! They also promised to fill out the paperwork for the tax credit and I have yet to see anything from it. When I call customer service they tell me that the funds were approved and they will issue a check. I have got this response for 3 months. They are not an honest or reliable company.

These guys are crooks. I was told that once these panels are installed, I would be generating credits and I would not have to the loan back for two months. What I found out is that they took their time getting this turned on. Yes the panels were installed but they didn’t actually turn them on for another 6 weeks. So as of today I’m now paying my full electric AND my solar loan.

Avoid Fluent Solar. Everything was great up until the solar was installed. Super excited over getting solar to find out that I am paying for solar mortgage and full power bill. I've emailed the company multiple times with no response. FYI, tax credit for down payment, this is part truth and depends on the tax bracket you are in. I will not get all of the tax break the first year, leaving me with a larger solar payment.

Our solar was installed two weeks after we signed the papers which was very encouraging June 2020. That was the last of the good news. Every process had to be initiated by me after waiting months for anything to happen. We finally received our permission to operate in October 2020. we have been working with Fluent for months and our solar still doesnt work. Panels have been up for 3 months and still cant get their contractor to finish the job. The contractor take every short cut possible and never finishes anything. At this point I would rather they took every thing back and I would use a differnt company
Do not use this company as they have pathetic customer service. I have been going around in circles with them since June trying to get the install set up and completed. I keep getting dates scheduled and then they never show, try to contact people and find out what is happening and get the runaround. Project was finally started last week now my basement lights do not work the inspection was supposed to be completed today nobody bothered to show or call, and I have no idea what is happening.
