We spoke to a representative that was in the *************, ***** area and we thought about getting solar panels for our home, We found out that Fluent Solar has a history of putting a lien on customer's homes so if they cannot pay they take the home. Also, they say we canceled too late and now, November, they say we owe a $1500 cancellation fee. We have had nothing but one problem after another. Our sales person promised we would not have any electric **** on the 2 systems we bought for our 2 *********** are. **************************** said we were sold only an 87% system. Why would we only buy a partial system. Then we bought the battery backup system for both houses & only one got installed & installed with the wrong battery. Our Solar Panels were installed June 29th, 2021. It is now September 2nd, 2021, and we have been trying to get these panels inspected so they can be turned on for over 6 weeks. Our original inspection date was scheduled for July 19th, 2021. No one showed up. My husband and I called and emailed Fluent numerous times over the course of 5 weeks to try to get this rescheduled and every single person we spoke to told us they would call/email us back with an update, but no one ever did. High pressure sales tactics, hidden and downplayed costs and outright lies! I had a salesman, Tyler, come to my house and do his initial pitch in which he talked about rolling power outages and the city penalizing people for using over a certain amount of energy each month. He said he'd come back in about an hour after he called his company to verify solar was feasible for my property and make a proposal for placement. Awful salesman. They came to my house after 8pm with all the lights off. I work over night. He banged on my door several times. I answered on my ring informing him that I am unable that I’m trying to rest. He was extremely rude continued to ignore me telling him I was not interested. I told him he had to leave my property. Don’t buy from this company! They are very close to a scam in my opinion. We signed up to have panels installed in December 2020 and we are still not complete. They promised a Nest upon completion and they promised to take care of everything. They have not. We have had to notify the county for the inspections and twice have failed. The installer One Solar did not placard the meter and the county is now questioning the grounding of the equipment. It is July and we are still not up and running. It's been since Oct of 2020 that I have been working with Fluent Solar who does not stand up to their promises or commitments. I was given permission to operate as of 3/1/2021 and to this date, 7/15/2021, I still do not have a working solar system as promised in my contract. So as it stands right now, I am still paying a very high electric bill to Xcel Energy as well as my monthly purchase price for the solar panel system. Took 11 months to have my system up and running. Had to make 5 payment. Did not receive the $1000 rebate I was promised. Still wait for documentation paper so I can claim on my Taxes. WORST company I have ever dealt with!!

I had a salesman come to my door and ask about testing this solar system. I listened to his spiel and said I was very interested. I was lead to believe this was at no cost to me, except the monthly charge for my usage. I signed up and the installation was completed. While waiting for my systems inspection, I received an email with my total loan. I was shocked at a $34,000 loan document electronically signed by me. I would never have agreed to that!
