We made a car rental reservation through Expedia for a rental car in *******, **. The reservation was for a mid-size sedan for $249 for a week. On arrival, Fox Car rental informed us that the vehicle, class, and price for our reservation could not be honored. Took my money when I booked online and upon getting they ask for $300 more and since I did not have that I couldn't get the car I asked them to cancel, they refused and I never received my initial $360 back since June

I rented a vehicle from them the week of 8/21/23-8/25/23. Upon returning vehicle was checked in by clerk ***** with satisfying remarks. Later that afternoon I received a charge in my credit card for $511.10 that when I called they stated it was an excessive cleaning fee. I was traveling with my ******* dog and they knew I had a ******* dog upon renting the vehicle. They said it was excessive dog hair in the vehicle. We made reservations for a rental from Fox car rental in *********, when we arrived to pick the car up there was a very rude costumer agent who refused to assist ** in any way,after asking to speak to the manager another clown shows up without any proper greeting or making eye contact he just mumbled a few words and disappeared.After this whole ordeal I decided to leave and take my business elsewhere, I asked his name so I can make a complaint he refused and laughed at me and continued being rude.I left very upset and frustr... read more

Horrible experience. Paid for a premium car..said they didnt have any premium cars but could give me SUV. It was small, uncomfortable AND WAS GIVEN TO ME WITH NO GAS. I had to get gas in 105 degree heat. I had 12 miles of gas left.I returned car with full tank. Paid $50 to fill. They would only reimburse me $25. They have one shuttle for airport. Waited 30 min in 105 degree heat. Took 1.5 hrs to get to their office & get a car I hated.Terrible business

It's always really important to read any rental agreement before you sign it. Especially, when you rent a vehicle from Fox. I booked the rental through Expedia, and was charged an additional $260 from Fox. They will not explain the their fees upfront, and push you to get extra coverage that is not necessarily needed. They will squeeze every last cent they can out of you. Now, having said that, the car I got was really nice and clean, and ran and drove really good. Hortible rental car company. Need a class action lawsuit against them. I cant believe they are still in business. Major rip off company with very poor service nationwide.

Refusing my **** credit/debit card for deposit even because its not a major credit card and they cant put a hold on it. But yet my hotel but a larger hold on it then the car rental. So I had to use my **************************************************************** Well that added $240 cuz hes not 25, and he didnt drive the car and wasnt planning on it.
