Horrible! They give you a decent rate when you book but it's ALL the extra fees they charge you. I have been charged almost $600 for a rental. I declined insurance and while they were giving us "free upgrades" and talking to us at pick up, they added the insurance on and I didn't even realize it. I declined it twice and told her twice but she did it anyways. And because they have my signature, they aren't helping me. Absolutely terrible. Do not rent from them.

Fox Rental Car lost a long time customer. Brought the car back late and believed I would just be charged another day of the total rental. When I checked the car in, Employee ****** stated only a 25 late fee would be charged. He stated I would not be charged a full day. Next day I get the billing and and was charged an extra day and a 25 late fee. Called and person on phone could not explain to me why I should pay both and when asked about a supervisor, one was not available. I hope the 25 dollars they charged over makes them... read more

Horrible experience. Refused to rent me my prepaid vehicle because my credit card company changes the number on your physical card to a virtual number as a security precaution. Since O could not produce a physical card that doesnt exist, I was forced to pay exorbitant Uber fees. This company caused undue stress and cost me significant $. Never again.

I will NEVER use Fox Rent A Car again having used them a number of times. I accidently forgot to log into Illinois Tollway to pay a $13.50 toll after 10/08/23 rental return date and missed the window. Tried calling Fox/ATS Processing 4 times after 30 min per call being placed on hold, no one picked up the call. Received an invoice for $85.20. Tried calling again 3 times, 30 min each and no pick up again. Read invoice again and it looked like they would automatically charge my **** iused to rent the car if I didn't respond. M... read more

I incurred a toll and tried to pay directly. I was unable to because *** already had an account for the rented vehicle and the toll was paid autiomatically. Fox and their processor, ATS, charged me $30 administrative fees for $8.06 toll!!! That was almost 30% of the entire rental contract!! What a scam. And, in addition, I was unable to contact ATS. Calls placed on hold repeatedly for over 30 minutes with dead silence on the line. Take your business somewhere else. And how does Fox ger and ATS get an A+ from BBB if they aver... read more

I would not recommend Fox Rent A Car. I booked a car at a certain price to pay when I picked it up at the airport. At the counter, I was told the car was not available and would have to pay for an up-grade. This has happened to me in the past but I was always given a free up-grade. This is poor customer service and I will not be using ********************** in the future

I wish I read the reviews for FOX.I agree with all that Im reading now. No EMPATHY or systems to help travellers out. We showed up at . I realized I didnt have my license and I did the booking. She would not add my husband to the booking I made. We were both standing right there. No flexibility, absolutely nothing she could do she said with all their policies. DONT use Fox rent a car. We prepaid for 17 days with $150 security deposit. We dropped the car off November 7 and the attendant said all was good. Then I received an invoice with $150 adjustment. I called they said itll take 4 days to get $150 security deposit back. That never happened. I called back and was informed we were charged $150 for excessive sand Are you kidding me!!!
