I rented a car for three weeks with Fox rental at ***********************. I showed up to pick up my vehicle on the scheduled date only to be told there was only one car available. I had to pay double of what my original cost was for a different car. I will never rent a car from this company again. This was a big rip off! Stay clear from this company. While at the counter, another disgruntled person came in screaming and hollering that the car didn't work and demanded her money back. Go to another rental!!

Paid for my rental with Fox through Priceline. I paid in full for the rental weeks in advance Returned the car with a full tank of gas Received an invoice from them after going through security for an additional amount almost equal to the amount I paid in advance I have yet to figure out if its a mistake or if its just outright fraud I would not use this company!!!!!!!!

ADD ON TACTICS. I did a car rental through Southwest.com for a family member for an emergency trip to *******. The booking price from Monday night to Thursday afternoon was ****** for a midsized car. When his flight landed and he got the car and got on the road, my CC notification came through a charge for $435.00. Wow. We Rented a car at ***. After the completion of the rental we were charged an additional fee of $25. It took hours of calling and waiting on hold and transfers and dropped calls to speak with someone. Finally was told the Charge was an error, because I booked through Expedia the $25 charge was supposed to have be charged to them. She stated Currently all of those third party charges are charged to the renters card in file. Disgraceful in every way.The pick up service was miserable. It took nearly an hour to serve 5 renters in front of me. By time I got to my vehicle it was nearly dark. Despite this, I was expected to mark all of the damage (which was extensive) on the vehicle on a tiny slip of paper. I did the best I could with my phone light. I neglected to look at the interior, mistake!The vehicle was not clean and had a foul odor when starting. I could use some help trying to get my money back on a rental van that I had to put a tire on and tow truck to get towed to fox rental has not responded to my 3 email with receipt and to register letter

Avoid this company at all cost! They might look to be the cheapest but after they are through with you, it will be double the amount. When I received my receipt the next day, they had accused me of dropping my car off late and charged me nearly $80. I had to go back to the airlines and ask for a copy of my boarding pass to prove my flight time. It's a money making scheme they do, just read all the reviews.

My husband rented a car from this location and purchased insurance through TripAdvisor. My husband declined insurance at Fox because we already had it. *** added it to the contract and he didnt review before signing. They would not honor what he requested. I understand that he should have read the contract, but this company clearly sneaks it into every contract. This should not be a standard practice. Illegal Trade Practices Though purchase of 'toll package' was optional, Fox Rent A Car, ***** made paying a toll at Sunpass website impossible, and effectively forced customers to purchase of its 'toll package' at $14.99 plus taxes per day for the entire rental period. I incurred tolls approx. $7.00 in total for 7 days, but I was charged $107.52 by Fox Rent A Car, *****.
