Get directionsWe did a one way rental from TPA to MIA in Dec, 2021. They refused to provide an invoice at the time of rental return and did not email one as promised. When I got my bank statement, they had charged almost twice what was on the contract. They failed to respond to 3 different attempts to get at the source of the overcharge. We had a horrible experience with Fox rent a car. The lady who helped us was rude, unaccomidating and tried to tell us there were no cars available, even though we had already booked and paid through hopper. We had to argue with them to get our car. It was a very stressful and frustrating way to start a vacation. We recommend that nobody uses fox rental car. There are many other rental car companies who will test you much nicer.

Absolute worst rental car agency in the business, hands down!! Do not rent from them. They lead you to believe they are cheaper than the rest but then rack up the hidden charges! I was only supposed to pay $*** but ended up paying over $***. I told the agent I did not want insurance but they charged me for it anyway. I called 5 times and was transferred to the "billing" department each time and waited on hold for a total of two hours without talking to anyone in the "billing" department. I originally booked Jeep Cherokee or similar, but cancelled on the same day because we would like to experience the Jeep Grand Cherokee or similar. WORST Car rental ever and WORST customer service. HIDDEN FEES ALERT. The rental broke down last day of rental and we phoned and they instructed us on how to safely abandon the car so they can pick up and we had a real stress catching our flight home having to make alternative arrangements. Absolutely a scam. Charged me daily even though I already paid on Priceline. Charged fuel charges even though the tank was full. Over charged me $1000 all for lies . Can't get through to someone who can actually help and the manager was verbally abusive when pressed on the matter.

I rented a car at Orlando Florida Airport from Fox car rental. I had a reservation through ************ They did not honor the agreed upon price. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. THEY COMMIT FRAUD. My girlfriend and I are both serving in the Armt together and just spent the last year on a deployment. She was able to fly home before me and rented a car from Fox via Expedia. Upon arrival she was told that they don't accept debit cards. Eventhough her card was already charged the full amount. I rented a car at the Denver Airport from Fox Rent a Car. I reserved it for $ 376. when I check out I assumed the receipt was in the package for checkout so I didn't review it. The only thing in the brochure packet I realized later was information about the original reservation, they neglected to provide the receipt at check out so I wouldn't know at the time they had raised my four day rate from $ 375. to $ 825.
