Where do I start ? Bait and switch . Bad vehicle. Charged us double the price on our credit card . No customer service. Will not allow you to talk to a manager . Extremely shady company. How is this place allowed to still be in business!!!!!

Fox rental LAX provided worst service ever, and they are cheaters too. Not only I had to wait for 3 hours to get a car, he also tricked me to pay additional $169 insurance fee without even telling me. The sales person tricked me by showing me the rental charge, then ask me to swipe the credit card 2 times by saying the first time did not go through so he can hide the additional $169 insurance charge. I dropped off my car, they called me 20 minutes later to inform me that I forgot to leave the car key with them. I told them I would drop if off first thing in the morning when I picked up someone from the airport. Which I did. There was only one person working, I had to wait in line for a very long time which is fine. I dropped off the key, then months later they tell me I didnt drop off the key. First got to the airport and waited 45 minutes for a shuttle. Got to the car rental place and waited 30 minutes to be served as the customers in front of me were upset about being overcharged. I did not not get the car I ordered and they had plenty on the lot. They said the car fuel was full and must be returned that way. It is on a quarter tank and I am not paying to fill the car for them. It has been a terrible experience. They have also charged me for things for with out informing me. I wish I would have read reviews before renting from them. I did rent a few years ago and had no problems. This time they gave me a ragidy car and the engine made noises. They also conned me into signing the damage waiver which cost me an extra $20 a day. I spoke to a manager who wouldn't refund after I told them how I verbally refused it but somehow it still ended up on my paperwork.

I rented a car was dirty inside and out. Then the car broke down. Under the hood, the car was just as dirty, oil was black and nearly dry, the same with all the other fluids. The engine's throttle was faulty, but they company wouldn't allow me to fix it and get back on the road. I was forced to leave the vehicle for pick up, find my own way home from a family situation, but now they're telling me since the car was outside their area when recovered and the car isn't physically back in Las Vegas, my account is still active. This business does not maintain its vehicles. We were given a car with four bad tires. We had a flat tire on the freeway. There was no spare tire in the car, only an air pump. We made our way to a mechanic shop where the mechanic told us 2 of the tires were so bald their safety bars were exposed. He was surprised we did not have a tire blow. Previous to the flat tire we had to replace the wipers as there was no visibility in the rain. Fox did not explain charges fully. We were charged for a 2nd driver when there was none. Both of us signed contract as I used my credit card to pay for lease but companion drove. Were charged for toll charges and a second driver which brought fees up another $50.00 daily rental fee look too good to be true because it is - Site charged $97 for 4 days but were charged another $108.00 for toll fees, and 2nd driver fees upon delivering car back to Fox Rental Co.
