Rented a car with a reservation...upon arrival in Ft.Meyers Fl at an offsite location (approx. 8pm) the 5 day charge was approx. $250.00-they told me there was a $650.00 deposit NOT DISCLOSED prior-my credit card didn t have that amount available they wouldn t accept cash nor let me use a debit card NOT DISCLOSED prior... there is more but...they basically left me stranded without a car 15 minutes from the airport with no offer to get me back to the airport at 8pm on a saturday night...the office personnel were/are disgustin... read more

Agreed with the comment below, absolutely a scam of a company and extremely unethical. If negative stars were possible, this company would be receiving them. We rented a dirty, beat up car from them and purchased two insurances. My boyfriend dropped the rental car keys into a lake, which granted was his fault. I booked Fox Rent A Car through Priceline. Fox deceptively states that they are a "short shuttle ride" from LAX. They are actually over an hour away. I am currently in the military overseas and moving back to the U.S. with two small children, two dogs, and associated luggage. Waiting for and putting my family in a shuttle to a location an hour away is simply not feasible after a 24 hour trip from Japan. Unfortunately due to the zero cancellation policy there is nothing I can do about it.

I am sorry for any inconvenience to you. Our location is certainly not an hour from the airport in Los Angeles. It is 1.9 miles from the airport. Depending on traffic it is about a 6 to 10 minute shuttle ride. Instrucations for the shuttle may be found on the website. Thank you.
We did online search and Priceline gave us a quote and reservation for a Hyundai Santa Fe from 10/18/2022 until 10/28/2022. Confirmation FFX02EB75F. Paid 491.97 plus 104.00 for insurance coverage Arrived at Fox with our confirmation and the clerk informed us they don't honor Priceline and proceeded to tell us we had to pay 424.55 in order to rent vehicle It's called bait and switch. Your rental agreement shows that you signed to add an additional driver, prepaid fuel and liability coverage to cover any damages to a third party claim. I was not told the location was not 24 hours - when I arrived at 3am to drop off the car I found the location closed and there was no airport shuttle. I needed to scramble to find a lyft to get to the airport. In my haste, I left my camera bag in the car and locked it in the car. I have been emailing and calling for 4 days now. I wasn't impressed with the Toyota Camry that they had for my use. ******* at the TPA rental car terminal was very good, and very informative. He suggested I take a video of if the entire vehicle and the damage on said vehicle so I would not be charged. Boy was he right! Upon returning the vehicle, the woman at the return center didn't believe us that the damage was there when we picked up the rental, my wife and I had to prove it by showing her the entire video of all the damage on the vehicle That they rented to us. Have a pre-paid reservation for Early December out of Ft. Myers Florida. I called to cancel, as we all know that area was blown away by Hurricane Ian. I was told their policy as stated on their agreement stands and no Refund will be given regardless of the city being without power and UN-passable *** unlivable. We reserved a car for late October in early September. Our plans have had to change so my husband called to cancel. He was told it was non refundable!!!!! He reserved over the phone and was NEVER told it would be non refundable, and when the confirmation was sent, NOWHERE in the confirmation is there ANYTHING about it being non refundable.
